Prison Break: The Mother Lode

Mother-Lode.jpgSorry this review is painfully late. I have been waiting to rejoin the "Prison Break" gang for quite some time now. I was out of town for a bit, so we're just going to hit some of the high notes from last week's episode.

Mama Scofield
So the boys' mama has Company-issued PJs. Apparently, she is also fairly high on the totem pole there. She wants The General dead -- who doesn't? We're not entirely sure what she wants with her sons yet, but I am guessing it doesn't involve baking cookies.

Linc & Company
Linc is no longer running from The Company, but working for them. It doesn't exactly seem like a sweet gig though. If his crew (which includes Mahone, T-Bag and Self) doesn't find Scylla, The Company will find a few of their loved ones. Who knew T-Bag actually had a mother?? Oh, and this whole Company deal was to save Michael's life. Remember that brain tumor-y thing? Well, Michael is a speedy healer, whether it's tattoo removal or brain surgery. Now he's back in action and ready to take down The Company, with or without his brother's help.

Michael & Sara
Those two crazy love birds are hitching rides to Miami. Unfortunately, their ride is hijacked by a Company man. Being that this is "Prison Break," Michael figures out a way to bust open the side door of the moving 18-wheeler, and the two jump out, survive, and off they go. However, they soon find out that The General wasn't the one to unleash this henchman. Want to guess that mama sent a baby-sitter?

Instead of sending a ride, mom actually met up with Linc face-to-face. It wasn't exactly a sweet moment. Linc unloaded some of his anger, without any smashing. All the guy wanted was an apology, mom. Doesn't he deserve as much? Instead, she got all weepy -- well, fake weepy. It didn't seem like she was all that upset. Maybe she was too preoccupied with putting a hit on him.

That's right; mother of the year she is not. At the end of the episode, we are left wondering if Linc will make it to the series wrap party. The guy isn't in the previews for next week. Is this the end of Linc? We heard there would be a few surprises. We shall see this Friday. -- Rachel Cericola
