The ratings are in for last week's episode of our favorite show. Not surprisingly, they are down from the premiere.
The good news is they are a bit above last year's - 3.2 million compared to a range of 2.5 - 3.0 million.
The other good news is the show continues to have a pretty solid core viewership of around 3 million, which is good enough to make it the second biggest drawing non-sports or reality series on the CW (America's Next Top Model and wrestling both finish ahead of the show.), after Smallville.
At this point, and it's way too early to worry about this, the thing I'm most worried about is the whole network going dark next year. So I'm keeping tabs on anything that gives clues to their financial condition. This morning, I read a news report that seemed to indicate the CW has improved its advertising sales. Let's hope it continues.
