They've been in, they've been out. Now they are off.
After four seasons, Fox has cancelled the action drama "Prison Break." Needless to say, we here at Prison Break Fodder are saddened, but not surprised. Even star Wentworth Miller said at the beginning of the season that he thought the show was on death row.
"The show is just played out," said Fox president Kevin Reilly during the network's portion of the Television Critics Association's press tour. "Creatively, everybody feels enough stories have been told... We want to finish strong and not just gimp out next season. They have a cool ending."
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the show currently has four episodes left. However, they may shoot a few extras to bring the show to a close.

I've enjoyed this season, but it makes sense to wrap it up now. There's really no where else to go.
