So we know that "Prison Break's" days are numbered, but what about our beloved psycho Mahone?
TNT just announced that William Fichtner has signed on to play the lead in their new drama "Night and Day." What else would he play? An agent! The guy has certainly perfected that role.
Fichtner will star as Dan Hollister, a tough, veteran ATF agent who doesn't want his day job to collide with his family life. We have to wonder: Will Fichtner be doing double-duty, or is this a sign that Mahone may self-implode? Reuters says there's no plans to get rid of the character. However, judging by the previews, it looks like there's going to be a showdown between Mahone and Wyatt -- maybe on tonight's episode.
Sherry Stringfield ("ER") will also star as Hollister's wife, Elizabeth. The whole thing was created by Joel Surnow ("24") and Todd Robinson ("Lonely Hearts").
For now, Fichtner is still on "Prison Break," which airs every Monday at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on Fox. -- Rachel Cericola
