Prison Break Fodder

Prison Break: Interference

interference.jpgSona seems pretty dead in the morning. Maybe everyone sleeps in. Not Mahone and Bellick. They haven't been getting screen time as much this season though.

Maybe they will soon, because the break out is coming within 24 hours, or two weeks in TV Fodder time (the World Series has the timeslot next week). The big break is going down during the day, which was not part of the original plan. They have a plan? I must have been getting a snack during that part because the whole thing seems to be by the seat of their sweat-stained pants.

This week, Michael was collecting things like a pack rat -- and not the rat that got blown to bits in the beginning of the episode. However, he almost suffered a similar outcome. This is TV though guys...

See Michael was peeping at one of the guards, trying to plot the whole escape thing. Unfortunately, that guard was peeping back and mistook his stolen binoculars for the scope of a rifle. This actually forced the guards to get up off their asses and enter the gates of Sona.

I thought the whole idea of Sona was that there really weren't any guards. Now they are making a social call.

Speaking of social, Sona has a new resident. The welcome wagon apparently backed over his face and took his wallet, pants, shoes, and possibly some fillings. He down, but not out -- he still manages to ID Whistler.

He not only knows him, he is spying on him. How a guy living by his underpants can be so bold is beyond me. Maybe he didn't realize that Schofield had a psycho junkie for a pet. Gotta love the crazy Mahone.

When new guy finally confronts Whistler, he mumbles something about McFadden... niece... Ambassador… what the hell does all of that mean? This was almost as confusing as Mahone’s revelation about the guard's coffee cups.

Sucre is still working his gravedigger gig, but he's moving up the ladder. Apparently the previous guy had some kind of side job where he'd sneak in drugs and get $5,000. How he will make this happen every week or so is beyond me; it's not easy to conceal a package that looks like it's been backed over by about 60 Fed Ex trucks.

Speaking of moving up the ladder, T-Bag is still pushing drugs for Lechero. However, it seems like old all-for-one T-Bag is about to take over. He has wooed Lechero's prostitute nun (again, chicks dig the one-armed man), and he appears to be one episode away from sticking a shiv in his master's neck.

Didn’t understand Linc’s role in this episode at all. He buys maps and make sandcastles. At least there was very little of Susan B. in this one.

We're off for the World Series next week, but the following week will squeeze the break and a few other blowouts into one two-hour episode. See you then. -- Rachel Cericola

Best moment this episode was T-Bag's smile after he made that comment about giving Mahone a tab. I have no idea what he's planning, but it just reminded me of why I love his character so much. :P

so what happens next Sure leading a life of crime again. Is he going to end up in Jail next? I hope he is careful. I also hope T-bag takes care of lechero, T-bag did not look to happy when he was punched.

T-Bag taking care of Lechero would be interesting. Actually, I REALLY want to see Lechero fall before we're done with Sona. Not that I don't like his character or anything (he's definitely the best new character introduced this season), but I'm dying to see what would happen in Sona without him.

Bit of a slow episode... still, unbelievably psyched for the 2 hour night. Love this show.
