The evolution of Supernatural continues.
We open with some scenes of domestic life, interspersed with similar scenes from hunting. Dean grabs the salt for the kitchen table, and we see a flashback to the Winchesters salting and burning bones. Dean uses power tools at work, and we see him slicing up a vampire with a power saw. It’s an effective way to show how Dean’s life has changed.
If you have a kid and a TV, you must know Laurie Berkner. The perky singer makes children’s tunes slightly more bearable for adults, with her adult contemporary sound. Even better, the kids just love her.

The official first week of the fall season is over. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty wiped — and I haven’t even caught up with my DVR. This season, I’ve managed to take on more new TV shows than any season in recent memory. That said, I know it’s only a matter of time before one of the networks rips my heart from my chest and pulls the plug. While I still can, I would like to put in my pleas for the following shows…

I want “The Event” to succeed. I also wanted “FlashForward” to get a second season.
But I know disappointment will once again deliver a kick to my crotch in a matter of months. It’s inevitable: “The Event” won’t get a second season. Hell, it might not get a second episode.

Better late than never — I wanted to get this promo out there for Boardwalk Empire. The show premieres tonight on HBO. Just in case you’re on the fence about watching this show, the trailer for the pilot episode (which is directed by Martin Scorcese) should change your mind.

TNT just announced a 20-hour marathon for the cult favorite, Supernatural. Who knew that The CW show even aired on cable?

Really? That’s it? That’s the True Blood Season 3 season finale? I feel a little like a guy who gave his best girl chocolate and flowers, took her to a nice restaurant and a movie, went for nice romantic barefoot stroll on the beach in the moonlight, and got a kiss on the cheek at her door. Yeah it was fun and all, but, really? That’s all?

I’ve recapped. A lot. Hell, I was recapping before recappers called it recapping. And while I know I’m coming off as the cranky geriatric waving his cane at those flippant effin’ youngsters, I think I’ve got some cred here.
