The Office: The Promotion - Preview

After last week's big news, you'd think it'd be hard for David Wallace to pull something else out of his hat for this week.

You'd think wrong.

Last week, Michael agreed, on David's suggestion, to make Jim a co-manager, with Michael handling client relations/long-term stuff, and Jim handling day-to-day operations.

On tonight's episode, "The Promotion," Wallace announces there will not be any raises this year (welcome to the recession, Scranton branch).

Jim, in his new co-manager role, pushes Dwight too far, so Dwight tries to form office alliances. He did that before, if you recall, with Jim, and that ended up getting Dwight trapped in a cardboard box in the warehouse.
