"The Office" without Michael Scott would be like:
But Zap2It believes Scott may well be packing his Dunder-Mifflin bags, after a newcomer played by "The Wire" star Idris Elba takes over the corporate spot formerly occupied by Jan "Don't Call Me Levinson-Gould" Levinson. Elba has an upcoming six-episode arc, according to Zap2It, and that should include time for him to make Michael feel uncomfortable, a task usually assigned to Toby.
Although NBC has made strange moves in the past, removing their network star, Steve Carell, from their working man comedy would make as much sense as dragging out another season of "E.R." this yearohboybadexample.
On the other hand, Dwight, Toby, Ryan, Jim and Pam and others have all spent time away from the Scranton branch, so it makes sense for Michael to do the same, not counting the time he tried to become a hobo and live on the railroad.
Guess we'll just have to tune in and see what trouble Domo Arigato Mr. Scott-o gets himself into this time.--Andy Shaw
