NBC is sure keeping us guessing about the upcoming "Office" spin-off. First it was on, then it was gone, then it came back with "Saturday Night Live" star Amy Poehler.
Today, the network came clean -- and slightly clearer on its plans.
First of all, Greg Daniels is working on a show for Poehler. It will be similar to "The Office," but it will not be the spin-off. However, it's almost as secretive. Considering how Poehler is pregnant, Entertainment Weekly says that the chances of the Poehler show premiering in the post-Super Bowl spot are slim.
While there's no word on whether or not the "Office" spin-off will actually happen, NBC Entertainment Co-Chairman Ben Silverman said he was hoping for the best. Does that sound promising?
For now, Poehler still plans to appear in "Saturday Night Live," which premieres September 13 on NBC. -- Rachel Cericola
