Forget the "Office" Spin-Off

We've all been waiting and wondering about the new "Office" spin-off. So much time wasted!

Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello says that the plan to clone the show has basically been scrapped. Apparently, no one could come up with a strong enough concept. Instead of half-assing, executive producer Greg Daniels has moved on, and plans to build a comedy around "Saturday Night Live" regular Amy Poehler.

Disappointed? I'm not sure. While I’d love twice the wit, all the secretiveness seemed like a disaster in the making. -- Rachel Cericola

Editor's Note: Since we posted this story, many reports have popped up stating that Amy Poehler is actually starring in the "Office" spin-off. Confused? So are we. Stay tuned!
