George's dad undergoes surgery. Meredith learns she is keeping Derek from sleeping. Izzie struggles with Denny's inheritance check.

There's a whole lot of anger brewing between the hospital staff at Seattle Grace. Will anyone be able to forgive and forget?

Victims of a three car accident fill the ER just as Derek and Meredith's "friendship" begins to crash and burn. His realization that she's seeing their dog's vet puts Derek over the edge and makes for a very uncomfortable work enviroment. After a day of suffering through his verbal abuse, Meredith has had enough.

Dr. Alex Karev and Dr. Addison Shepherd go head to head while treating a pregnant mother of six, leaving Addison vulnerable to a costly malpractice suit. Denny and Izzy finally get to spend some time out of bed together and Meredith and "Dr. Vet" make a special delivery together.

Why have sex when you can knit? Meredith has sworn off boys and booze, the two vices that have gotten her into a load of trouble recently, and turned to knitting to keep her occupied. It wouldn't be my first choice but then again, if I slept with George, I'd take up basket weaving if I thought if would keep me out of the sack for awhile.

It's a very unlucky day for the patients at Seattle Grace. Four have already died and the staff think three more will follow them to the morgue unless they can change the bad "juju" infecting the hospital. Will Denny die on the operating table or will he break the curse and live to see another day with Izzy by his side?

So much for the saying "the truth will set you free". Since they're just "friends" now, Meredith decides to tell Derek she slept with George. "The truth hurts" is more like it!

I hate to say I told you so! Maybe sleeping with George wasn't the best idea Meredith ever had. Now George is humilitated, Meredith feels guilty and her friends are prepared to circle the wagons to protect George from getting hurt further. There's only one person Meredith can turn to when she's having a bad day. Hmmmm, I wonder who that could be?

Wecome Dr. McSteamy! Derek's so called best friend and Addison's former lover walks into Seattle Grace Hospital and stirs up a pot of trouble. His arrival also fuels George's need to make a serious confession to Meredith.

Code Black: An unexploded bomb in the chest of a patient at Seattle Grace Hosiptal has put the enire hospital in jeopardy of being blown apart. Dr. Merideth Grey is literally holding their lives in her hand. The stress of the situation proves to be too great for two of Seatlle Grace's best and soon the health of Dr. Weber and Dr. Bailey is in serious jeopardy.
