"Grey's" Gets New Blood

When Seattle Grace reopens its doors this fall, there's going to be a new Grey in town -- for good this time. Chyler Leigh, who appeared at the end of last season, is being added to the cast of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy."

Leigh will star as Lexie Grey, Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) younger half-sister and new Seattle Grace intern. You might remember her from last season; she was the one flirting with McDreamy (Patrick Dempsey). Get ready for some sibling rivalry!

According to her IMDB.com resume, Leigh originally signed on for the spin-off, "Private Practice." She also starred in Fox's short-lived "Reunion," as well as "That '80s Show" and 2001's "Not Another Teen Movie."

When "Grey's Anatomy" returns this fall, it will resume its Thursday 9:00 p.m. (EST) timeslot on ABC. -- Rachel Cericola
