Well it looks like Katherine Heigl has gotten her wish -- besides good box office receipts for "Knocked Up." According to TV Guide.com's Michael Ausiello, Isaiah Washington will not be returning to "Grey's Anatomy" this fall.
Washington first made headlines by fighting with castmate Patrick Dempsey (don't mess with McDreamy!). He then made audiences quickly forget that incident by calling co-star T.R. Knight an anti-gay slur. Shortly after, Knight came out publicly.
After continuing to put his foot in his mouth, Washington decided to just enter rehab and eventually taped a public service announcement for GLAAD. He recently won an NAACP Image Award.
So it looks like Dr. Burke not only left for Seattle, but he left no forwarding address. And just in case you haven't gotten your fill of spoilers, Knight (Dr. George O'Malley) will be back -- with a hefty pay raise.
