"Grey's Anatomy" Spin-Off News

There has been a lot of talk about a spin-off possibility. Several reports suggest it will star Kate Walsh, as Addison Montgomery-Shepherd, and Taye Diggs. It is now being reported here and here that Tim Daly, of Wings fame, will be part of the 2 hour pilot to air in May. The idea is that Addison will be deciding whether or not to leave Seattle Grace. If the spin-off gets the green-light, then she will obviously leave Seattle Grace and we will have a new medical drama with Taye DIggs and Tim Daly competing to be the new "Dr. McDreamy." What will his new "name" be? How about McCreamy? or maybe McGleamy? I'm sure we're going to be in for some McPolygamy?

Is there room for two of these shows? Only if the new one is as well-written as Grey's.
