"Grey's Anatomy" Actor Comes Out

According to an Associated Press report published on CNN's website, www.cnn.com, actor T.R. Knight, known as "poor George" for his disastrous crush on Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and his luckless lovelife with Callie (Sara Ramirez) has told People magazine that he is gay. His admissiom came with the hope that people don't consider that "the most interesting part of me."

According to the ABC's Grey's Anatomy web site, http://abc.go.com/primetime/greysanatomy/bios, T.R. Knight , known mostly for this work on and off-Broadway had spent the past two years before being cast of Grey's, back in his home state of Minnesota as a member of the Guthrie Theater acting company.

Knight told the magazine, " I guess there have been a few questions about my sexuality, and I'd like to quiet any unnecessary rumors that may be out there," Knight's statement read. "While I prefer to keep my personal life private, I hope the fact that I'm gay isn't the most interesting part of me."

Don't worry T.R., Grey's fans don't care who you go to bed with. As long as Meredith stays out of George's bed, it's all good.
