After hearing about the murder, Elizabeth keeps Lucky’s gun near to protect herself. She is alone in the house. Meanwhile, her husband Lucky meets Sam at her apartment. She greets him in the Jacuzzi in a bikini. He just wanted to check on her and tell her about the murder. Later, Elizabeth hears noises outside. She begins to panic and holds the gun close. She opens the door and realizes it is Lucky standing outside. He asks her why she didn’t just call him. She says that she did call the station but was told he was with Sam. He explains that Sam is in danger because of her involvement with Jason. She’s still not happy with their relationship and pulls away when Lucky tries to kiss her.

Sonny sends Carly and the boys to the private island to keep them sage. Jax is none to happy about that. He tells Sonny that he would like to take them to Australia. Sonny doesn’t think it’s a good idea. He is extremely paranoid about this new enemy, with good reason. Sonny acknowledges Jax’ love for Carly and the boys, but tells him it is his duty to keep them safe and invites Jax to go with them.

Trevor tells Kate about Leticia’s murder. He tries to get any info he can on Sonny out of her. She tells him that Sonny thinks Zacchara is behind the murder while Zacchara thinks that Sonny is.

As Ric is questioning Jerry about the murder Alexis steps in and claims to be Jerry’s lawyer. She hasn’t heard about the murder and immediately her thoughts turn to her girls. Ric promises her that he will do everything he can to keep them safe, but of course Alexis doesn’t believe him, they begin to argue.

Lulu is back in town and goes straight to Kelly’s. Logan is there and tells her everything that’s been going on while she’s been gone. Maxie is sitting at a table with Cooper (I can’t believe these two are still together!) and watches them. Cooper thinks she’s jealous of Lulu and leaves as he realizes Maxie may have feelings for his friend. She runs after him begging him for another chance, but he tells her that the situation with Logan is tearing them apart. Devastated, she rushes to Sam’s apartment. She wants Sam’s help in ruining Lulu’s life.

What do you think about the pairing of Georgie and Spinelli? I am warming up to them just a bit. Georgie has had such a bad time lately. You gotta feel for the girl. The one icky thing about the pairing is the fact that he’s still mooning over Lulu. I feel like Georgie’s character is being treated like the ugly stepsister. Actually, when you think about it Lulu and Maxie are the stepsisters and Georgie is in fact Cinderella. She’s the one who cleans up after everyone and makes excuses for their bad behavior. Well, Spinelli brings her a gift to thank her for all of her kind advice. He has given her chocolates with some websites about places to go in Europe written on the box. He mentions that he overheard a conversation between herself and Maxie about studying abroad. Georgie is planning on studying abroad. They begin to talk. Spinelli defends Jason, saying he has been a really good friend to him. Georgie tells him she thinks that he’s cool even if other people don’t think so. She likes the fact that he doesn’t hide who he is unlike Logan, who obviously is hiding something.

After talking to Nikolas about his marriage, Lucky decides to spend some time with Elizabeth and the boys. They agree to set up the kiddie pool for the kids. They go upstairs to get changed into bathing suits. Sam comes to the house to talk to Lucky. Elizabeth overhears the conversation from the top of the stairs. Sam tells Lucky that she is cannot keep him as a bodyguard. She is afraid that he will get sucked into the mob war between Sonny and Zacharra. She tells him that Zacharra has a habit of using family members of enemies as collateral. Lucky takes Sam’s hand and tells her that she needs protection too. Elizabeth continues to watch them. Sam is really getting her teeny claws into Lucky now!

According to SoapCentral.com, actress Annie Wersching is leaving General Hospital. Wersching, who plays Amelia, Sam’s recent nemesis, will be leaving General Hospital for the Fox hit show “24”. Of course we all remember the interesting turn General Hospital took with their very special 24-like episodes. Wersching joined the cast just after sweeps and missed that excitement.

"24" premieres in January 2008 on Fox.

I don’t understand this “relationship” between Maxie and Logan. Do they even want each other? I know it started because Maxie was afraid that Lulu would steal Cooper away from her, but wouldn’t sleeping with his psychotic best friend push him right into her waiting arms? Whoa, that last sentence was a tad bit dramatic. The point is, what is the point? They really deserve each other though. They are manipulative bullies. Now I like Maxie in a bad girl way. She serves the purpose of the bad girl in this soap. What I don’t get is this Logan-wannabe-bad-boy. I guess the writers are trying to set him up as the next Sonny. It’s just that he lacks the charisma that Maurice Bernard brings to the character of Sonny. Watching him bully Spinelli and sleep with Maxie behind Lulu’s back is not appealing in any way. I guess what bugs me the most is that there is no motivation behind his actions. It’s frustrating as a viewer.

Carly is concerned about Lulu, for good reason! She asks Lulu what she knows about Logan. She admits that she doesn’t know much, but it’s the way he makes her feel…how many of us have said those very words! Jax comes home and talks to the boys. He promises to take them out on his boat, but Carly doesn’t think that’s a good idea. After they put the kids to bed, she tells him that she doesn’t want him to make promises to the boys that he can’t keep.

Spinelli tells Logan what happened at the coffee house between him and Logan. Jason gets upset after hearing what an out of control jerk Logan is being. He hurries off to talk to Sonny.

Sam stops by Elizabeth’s house to taunt her some more. When Lucky comes in he assumes they are arguing about Jason yet again. Elizabeth asks him how he can be so blind about Sam’s intentions toward him. He tells her that maybe he does see it. He leaves the house and runs into Sam. She apologizes for arguing with Elizabeth. She was hoping that she could make amends, but she doesn’t think that Elizabeth will ever want to. Lucky tells her that Elizabeth is worried about their relationship. Sam asks him if he is too. She pulls him into a kiss. Of course who should be walking through the park but Jason Morgan himself! Sam asks him if he has a problem. Lucky angrily says that Jason’s glad to see this so he can have Elizabeth, but promises that he will never take his boys away from him. Lucky runs off. Jason tells Sam that Lucky doesn’t deserve to be used like this. Sam says she’s merely repaying Elizabeth and asks if his threat was an empty one.

Sonny is jealous of Kate’s relationship with Trevor. His mother had a past with Trevor and basically made his mother choose between him and her son. When she chose her son, Trevor broke it off with her. Kate blows him off and defends Trevor. When he continues to bash Trevor saying that the only reason he is in town is because he is working for Anthony Zacchara. She doesn’t believe him and tells him to leave.

Jax finally confesses to Carly that he slept with Irina. He did it to protect their family. Honestly, sometimes these storylines are so crazy that typing them out makes me laugh. Of course Carly is pissed; wouldn’t you be? He points out that she wasn’t forced to sleep with Sonny, which only makes her even angrier.

Emily tells Elizabeth to give Lucky some time to work things out. Elizabeth agrees; she knows they have both made mistakes. Meanwhile, Lucky discusses safety on the set. Amelia seems more concerned with his relationship with Sam. She tells him to be careful. When Lucky comes home that night, he apologizes to Elizabeth for his recent behavior. He wants to work things out and so does Elizabeth. So I guess they are one big happy family.

On the other side of town, Jason storms into Sam’s apartment! He demands to know why she hired those men to scare Elizabeth. She doesn’t deny it and says that he should be glad that she gave Elizabeth a wake up call! Now she sees what life with Jason would be like. Jason is beyond furious. He tells her she’s dead if she ever tries to lay a hand on Elizabeth or her children ever again. When he gets back to his apartment, he tells Spinelli to make sure that Sam stays away from Elizabeth. Ok, how? With his magic computer?

Lucky goes to Sam’s apartment just after her confrontation with Jason. (I’m assuming that he plans to quit?) She’s crying and of course tries to milk the situation for all it’s worth. She tells him how much safer she feels now that he is her bodyguard.

While Jason is putting away a little baby jumper of Jake’s away, looking very pitiful, I might add, Amelia shows up at his door. She is there to tell him that Sam has hired Lucky as her bodyguard and it is only a matter of time before she seduces him. He is sick of hearing these “reports” from Amelia and tells her to keep it to herself in the future. He makes her promise not to say anything about Jake to Lucky. She agrees, but isn’t so sure that Sam will.

Sonny asks Diane to help Kate with the charges. Kate tells the two of them that she needs to leave for Paris despite the fact that she will be jumping bail if she does. Sonny wants to know what is more important, her freedom or the magazine.

Carly is trying to find Jerry. In Turkey, she is trying to clear customs. They ask her if she is there for business or pleasure and she says neither. Ok, as someone who has traveled to different countries, that is not exactly what a customs officer wants to hear, especially this day in age. She explains to the officer that she is there to track down her cheating husband and shows him a picture of Jerry.

Elizabeth runs into Sam in the park. She doesn’t have her car because it is in the shop. Sam asks Elizabeth if she can hold Jake. Elizabeth says no. Sam knows perfectly well how she feels about her. Sam asks Elizabeth where Lucky is. She heads to the Spencer’s house. She knocks on the front door, but no one answers. Lucky comes up behind her. He lets her into the house. They vent about the situation with Jason and Elizabeth. She tells him that she is sorry for not telling him sooner about the affair. She calls Elizabeth a loser; with a loving husband and beautiful children, she had the most to lose of the two of them. There is a moment where they lean toward each other and nearly kiss, but Sam pulls away at the last moment. She tells him she’s sorry and makes a quick exit.

Irina has Jax blindfolded. When she takes it off of he notices that she has food, but has not given him any. He wonders if she is still angry at him. He tells her that Jerry has suffered enough; he was destroyed when he thought she was dead. She doesn’t believe him and waits for the moment she can force Jerry to watch as Jax dies. This storyline is seriously annoying, I tune in to soap operas for the romance and strong characters. If I wanted this I would watch 24!

Carly make the mistake of trying to bribe the customs officer. She is detained but pleads her case with the officer and he decides to help her. He looks up the name she gives him and gives her the address of the hotel he is staying at. She quickly makes her way there.

Jason looks at some pictures that he has of Liz and Jake; he puts them away in a box. Just then, someone knocks at the door; it’s Lucky. He’s come to tell Jason, now that he’s no longer in jail, to stay away from him family. Jason tries to tell him that he’s sorry about the situation. He didn’t intentionally try to seduce Elizabeth and it hasn’t happen since that one time, nearly a year ago. Lucky doesn’t buy it, but before they can say much more Lulu shows up. She says that she is there looking for Spinelli, but when Lucky leaves she tells Jason that she came to apologize for how she treated him about the decision to keep Jake’s paternity a secret. She had no right to interfere it was not her decision to make. Then she asks him how he feels about Elizabeth because she thinks that Elizabeth is in love with him. She thinks that Jason bottles up his feelings all the time. She wants to know if he’s in love with Elizabeth!

According to the weekly mag Soaps in Depth: “No one is safe from Sam’s reign of terror.” There’s nothing like a woman scorned and so on. Sam has enlisted Maxie to help her systematically ruin Elizabeth’s life. Elizabeth walked in on Sam holding her child and chatting up her husband. Now that Elizabeth has been forced to testify about her night with Jason, Lucky is devastated and Sam is going in for the kill.

Spinelli accidentally tells Sonny about hacking the files for Carly. He is forced to admit that Carly and Jerry are together in Venezuela looking for evidence that Alcazar isn’t really dead.

Maxie goes to Logan’s place to give him advice on winning over Lulu. Logan doesn’t want her help. She thinks that Logan is starting to fall for Lulu, but all he seems to do is tease Maxie about wanting him. He leans in for a kiss. Meanwhile, Cooper is at Kelly’s with Lulu. She is filling salt shakers. She throws the spilled salt over her shoulder. He comments about the superstitious act. Back to Maxie and Logan making out; just as the thought of Coop walking in on this, who should walk in the door?

Alexis meets with Sam. They sit at some bistro table outdoors where the sound of boat fog horns can be heard in the background; weird. The strangest things stick out for me while watching General Hospital. Alexis tries to have a heart to heart with Sam. She knows about Elizabeth’s admission in court. It was interesting to hear Alexis plead with Sam. She admitted that she is far from unbiased about the situation, but she wants Sam to really think about what she is doing or else she’s going to regret it for the rest of her life.

The trial continues. Sonny is the first one called to the stand. Ric questions him for a while and then calls Kate Howard to the stand. She talks all around his questions, not really giving Ric an inch. Later on, when Sonny and Kate are alone together he thanks her with a pizza and a six-pack of cold beer. She of course refuses under any circumstances to eat pizza. Is Sonny crazy?! Once again he is trying to recreate one of the moments they had as children. Michael and Morgan show up. They lost a toy in one of Kate’s ponds. How many ponds could one person have? It turns out to be in the water lily pond.

Elizabeth is called to the stand finally. Lucky is in the courtroom. He is allowed into the closed trial because he was the arresting officer. Carly, on the other hand, was not allowed in. Ric questions her relationship between her and Jason. I have to give it to him; he was pretty slick the way he led up to it. Especially when he asked how often Jason stopped by her house; once a month, once a week or (dramatic pause) every night? It’s almost uncomfortable to watch him go in for the kill.

Something that is really aggravating is Lulu’s hair. Gross, gross, gross. It looks like straw. Has this girl heard of conditioner! I want to completely ignore this whole Logan/Lulu pairing. I don’t see at all what she sees in him. There don’t seem to be any redeeming qualities about him at all. He’s a wannabe thug. Look how he bullied Spinelli. He’s arrogant; what kind of way to ask her out was that? He challenged her to a game of pool. If she wins, he will leave her alone. If he does, she has to go out on a date. How romantic. How cliche! I don’t see what anyone as compassionate as her would see in him. I guess it’s the old bad boy appeal.

Lulu is working at the Kelly’s. Spinelli arrives with good news. He has hacked into the courts system and can see the trial on his computer. She thanks him, but doesn’t think that she could bear to watch her brother’s life ruined by Elizabeth’s testimony. Maxie comes in and Lulu tells her that Cooper is not there. Of course this makes Maxie angry. Spinelli tries to stop the argument from escalating. Sam interrupts. She says that Lulu’s not the saint he thinks she is. It’s a standoff with Sam on Maxie’s side and Spinelli on Lulu’s. It’s almost comical. Then Sam completely deflates poor Spinelli. You can actually see the moment his pathetic little heart breaks, so sad. She tells him that Lulu is just stringing him along and he needs to face up to the fact that Lulu is never going to love him just like Jason doesn’t love her anymore. They leave Lulu and Spinelli in uncomfortable silence. She has to re-break his heart by saying that she doesn’t want to lead him on like Sam said. She doesn’t see herself falling in love with him.

In Port Charles they take the constitutional right to a speedy trial very seriously. In real life I’ve seen these kinds of things drag out forever and ever and ever! They just skim over the part where it’s fair as well as speedy. The mayor had threatened to take Ric off of the case and replace him with Scotty, but in the end Ric stays. Of course he is trying his hardest to make Jason look like a murderer. Sam testifies. It’s not nearly as detrimental to Jason as Elizabeth thought. She told Alexis that she wanted to tell the truth and she did.

Even after all his nagging, Sonny ends the relationship with Kate. This is a complete 180. After all this build up, he decides it’s not a good idea to involve her into his dangerous lifestyle. This is what she’s been saying the whole time! How annoying.

Carly is angry at Sam for testifying. She tells Sam that she’s going to be sorry for betraying Jason. Meanwhile, Elizabeth and Jason talk. She wants to help him. Will she lie on the witness stand? Is this because she loves him or because she doesn’t want the truth about the baby? Emily has been hinting at this for a while now.

Cooper warns Lulu about getting involved with Logan. At first she resists, but admits to herself that Cooper is right. She tells Logan she doesn’t want to see him anymore. Logan gets upset, especially when she tells him that Cooper was the one who warned her about him. He beats Cooper; Lulu feels responsible and tries to help him. Where was Maxie during all this?!

Ric decides to show the jury the footage of the shoot-out. Diane objects, but the judge allows it. Ric is trying to paint Jason as a cold-blooded killer. And really, if you think about it, he has a point. Sonny and Jason aren’t good guys. They are mobsters. They kill people and who knows what sort of illegal things they smuggle under the guise of the coffee business. I am finding it really hard to empathize for Jason, knowing that he killed Alcazar. Although, knowing General Hospital, they may write a storyline where Alcazar turns out not to be dead. That or an evil twin, wait, they did already did that. Hmm.

Later, Ric warns Jason that he intends to question Elizabeth about the baby’s paternity. To avoid that, he offers Jason a plea bargain.

The woman from Jerry’s past, Irina, is holding Jax hostage. Jax does not know about the relationship between his brother and Irina. Meanwhile, Jerry finds out that the people he hired have lost Jax and have no idea where he is. If I cared I would wonder what Jerry’s reaction is going to be when he finds out Irina is involved, but really this storyline doesn’t really interest me. I am ready to see baby Jake’s true paternity revealed!

During the blog’s mini-hiatus, Noah has found out that Eli Love looks just like him. Eli comes to the hospital, injured. Somehow, Noah is convinced to take Eli’s place for a charity concert. Robin’s mother, Ana, is helping him to transform into a rock star. Robin is worried that Noah and Robin have slept together. He is annoyed that she’s taking part in hospital gossip. He thinks it’s no one’s business.

Sonny and Kate have spent the night together. He wants a relationship, but she is resisting. He wants her to let her guard down; something has changed between them. She thinks so too. They are interrupted by an urgent call from Diane.

Jason is being transferred back to the Port Charles jail. As he is leaving the van, someone shoots at them. Jason ducks and does an action-movie-tumble to get a gun that somehow fell to the floor. He shoots back.

Meanwhile, Sam and Liz are watching from the TV studio. (Liz is there to confront Sam.) A TV crew is videotaping it all live. Lucky runs out into the fray. When Maxie sees what is going on, she immediately calls Coop to see if he’s alright. Jason shoots the bad guy. In the end, one of the policemen has died and the other got away with just a shot in the leg. This isn’t good for Jason, Diane realizes, because now Ric, the prosecuting attorney, has Jason on video killing someone “in cold blood”. She thinks that Ric set them up. He was the one that allowed the camera crew to tape Jason’s transfer and he may have hired the shooter. She wants to move the trial to Manhattan so the jury pool won’t be tainted.

Max is let in to see Jason; they won’t let Sonny in to see him. Max tells Jason about Elizabeth and Sam’s argument. Elizabeth thinks that Sam will use her time on the witness stand to get back at Jason. She has broken up with him and is still upset about the baby.

Lucky comes home to tell Elizabeth about the shooting, but she already knows. He’s surprised that she was at the TV studio. She tells him she was there to make sure that Sam wouldn’t take out her anger for Elizabeth out on Jason. Lucky is upset that yet again Elizabeth is going out of her way to help Jason.

Carly thinks that Jerry was the one who hired the shooter. He denies it. She threatens to go to the police. He gets very angry and pulls out a gun, saying that would be the last mistake she makes. Whatever happened to Jerry trying to win Carly over?

Amelia goes to see Jason. She found out that the shooter was from Venezuela; possibly working for Alcazar. Amelia is thankful that Jason protected her from the shooter. She was with the TV crew following the transfer. She says that she is going to work hard to keep him from going to jail. Jason asks her not to use the footage. She says she will if she has to.

Meanwhile, Alexis is working to get Sam off of the witness list. She thinks that it will put Sam in harm’s way. She brings a form for Sam to sign to get off of the witness list. Sam doesn’t want to sign it; she intends to testify.

Sam asks Alexis if she can help her get a pass to see Jason in prison. Alexis says that it would be very hard because they aren’t married. Sam is anxious to talk to Jason. They have a lot to work out. Sam skips work and Amelia shows up at her apartment to see what is going on. Sam tells her that she doesn’t care about the contract; she’s not going to work with Amelia anymore. After a long, frustrating day she goes to the hotel bar. Is this the only place these people go to have a drink? Of course while she’s there she runs into Jerry.
Patrick and Noah get into a very heated argument in front of the student nurses. Patrick basically calls his father a drunk. He regrets it immediately. He comes to the conclusion that the hospital isn’t big enough for the both of them. A patient comes in with a serious condition. Patrick thinks that it’s his father. When Noah hears his son saying his name, he comes over to see what is going on. Noah and the patient look exactly alike!
Alexis stops by Carly’s house to have her sign some paperwork that Jax has emailed. Carly signs it quickly and Alexis leaves. Carly turns to Jerry and accuses him of sending the email because she knows that there is no way that Jax would contact Alexis and not her. Jerry claims that he had nothing to do with it. She tells Jerry to stop trying to manipulate her when he promises to take them out on his boat. She plans on keeping her children away from him.

Dillon is trying to make the decision of his life. He has the opportunity to work in film; his dream. There are two things holding him back. His mother and Lulu; he feels a little guilty leaving his mother in the mental institution and he still is holding out hope that Lulu will return his feelings. Ned pleads with him not to let their mother run his life. Georgie and Lulu agree that Dillon should follow his dream. Alan tells Tracy that she’s being selfish, keeping Dillon from going. Lulu sits down with Dillon and tells him that there’s no chance for them and that she thinks he should take the job. A little harsh, but what he needed to hear.

Well, I’d like to wish everyone a great summer. I am going on vacation for about nine days, so there is going to be a mini-hiatus for this blog, but I will be back!

The police take Jason back to jail. Elizabeth is angry with Lucky for calling them. She accuses him of being jealous of Jason. She is grateful to him for finding her son when Lucky couldn’t. Lucky storms out of the house. She said all that in anger, but no matter how angry she is at him she knows she will forgive him. While she feeds the baby, someone comes to the door. It’s Sam; she wants to congratulate Elizabeth on finding Jake. She asks Elizabeth where Jason is.

Sonny visits Jason in jail. He tells Sonny to keep his secret. He doesn’t want to put Elizabeth or the baby in any danger. Sonny doesn’t like the situation, but agrees to keep his secret. Diane says there is nothing that she or Sonny can do; Jason is going to prison.

Logan is brought in for public drunkenness. Scotty is only too happy to have him charged with assault as well. Mac says that the witnesses never mentioned assault. Mac tells an officer to put him in the drunk tank, but Cooper steps in. Cooper vouches for him and asks them to release Logan into his custody. Mac agrees. They go to Kelly’s where Maxie is waiting for him. Cooper and Maxie try to sober Logan up. She offers to watch over Logan when Cooper has to go back to work. When he is gone, Logan takes the opportunity to kiss Maxie. I’m unsure if Logan genuinely wants Maxie or if he’s just trying to prove to Cooper that she’s not good enough for him. It seems as though they are planting the idea of Maxie leaving Cooper for Logan. Cooper walks in on them kissing. He just thinks that Logan is just drunk and is only mildly annoyed. Later, Logan threatens Maxie. He says if she kisses him again, he will tell Cooper about their deal. I have been reading on some message boards and websites that there are a few fans of the Logan and Maxie pairing. They each daydream about each other later in the episode.

Edward asks Dr. Winters to sign a document that says Tracy is unfit to run ELQ. Ned thinks that Edward is making a big mistake. Later, Ned has a proposition for Dillon. He invites Dillon to work with him in Seattle and in the mid-west. Alan’s ghost, who is still hanging around, thinks it’s a great idea and encourages Tracy to let Dillon go. She doesn’t want her son leaving town while she is locked up in a mental institution. I don’t really blame her! I’m pretty sure that he’s gonna go because the actor Scott Clifton has chosen to leave General Hospital. This, by the way, leaves the door wide open for the Logan and Lulu pairing. (Or for Spinelli and Lulu!)

Some nurses accidentally see Patrick coming out of the shower at the hospital. Robin walks in the locker room as the nurses run out. He tells her it was an accident and she says it’s fine, things happen. He doesn’t believe that she would let it go so easily. Honestly, the things this couple fights about are so completely stupid. Or maybe it’s just me. Moving on…

There’s an interesting montage during Fourth of July fireworks. Stan is daydreaming about Lainey. And as I mentioned earlier, Maxie daydreams about Logan while she and Cooper watch the fireworks. Logan is daydreams about her at the same time. I think that they were made for each other. They each love to manipulate people to get their way. It would be kind of fun to see these two together. Cooper is too much of a nice guy for her. Plus, this leaves Lulu for Spinelli. Just how I want it!

Dr. Noah Drake begins noticing that people are staring at him. He becomes frustrated and asks them what is going on. Someone shows him the newspaper. There is an article about a rock star from the 80’s, Eli Love. They could be twins. The new doctor, who, by the way, has a baffling head of hair, asks Robin if Dr. Drake has a brother or a cousin. Robin asks Patrick about it. He and Noah think that he looks nothing like Eli Love.

After refusing to let Elizabeth and Lucky appear on her show to plead with their son’s kidnappers, she begins thinking about that day in the park. She remembers watching Elizabeth from behind a bush. Maureen, the woman who lost her baby sneaks up and quietly takes the baby from the carriage. Sam just watches. She calls Alexis. She wants to know, for the show, of course, if a person had witnessed a crime, but didn’t do anything, is that person in any legal trouble? Alexis just says that it depends on the crime. She assumes that Sam is talking about Jason. Sam tells her that Jason always protects her from his work and she used to love him for that, but now, I suppose, she feels shut out. Alexis is still worried, but Sam won’t tell her the truth.

Although, she had just been rescued Carly is stuck in the boiler room again! This time with Jerry. They fight about what a monster Jerry is, but when it comes down to it, Carly hates him for the way he treats Jax. Jax adores Jerry, but Jerry treats him like dirt. Jerry says that maybe he wants Jax to hate him.

Meanwhile, Sonny has been worrying about Carly. Kate is with him and thinks that Carly is just off being Carly. He asks Kate about the last time she talked to Carly. She says that she was her usual acerbic self, but she did remember that she had gotten locked in the boiler room. Sonny says, “It can’t be that simple.” He calls the hotel and Carly is freed.

Amelia tells Jason that she suspects Maureen. Amelia called her to appeal to her again about the show. As she is speaking to Maureen she hears a baby crying. Maureen is really nervous and quickly gets off the phone. Jason and Amelia go to Maureen’s house. Technically, Jason is jumping bail so he is on edge, but then again it’s hard to tell with “Stone Cold”. Getting to the point they go to the house and find the baby. Instead of calling the police, Amelia calls a psychiatrist. Oh, but wait, wait! Maureen drops a little bomb on the two of them. She assumes that Sam told them that she had taken the baby. They are both confused. She explains that when she took the baby she saw Sam watching her. Jason is silent on the drive back. Amelia wonders if he will be able to forgive Sam.

With this juicy knowledge Amelia heads straight for Sam’s penthouse. She tells her that Maureen told them all about Sam watching her take the baby. Sam doesn’t really respond much except to ask how Jason reacted. Amelia says that he didn’t have one and maybe that’s because he doesn’t love her anymore!
Jason brings Jake to Elizabeth’s house. She is overjoyed. Lucky walks in the front door. His blood begins to boil when he sees them together looking like a happy family. He asks Jason how he found Jake. He becomes angry with the answer. He is outraged that Jason wouldn’t call the police on that woman. Lucky pulls out his phone to call the station. He wants to subpoena Amelia for the woman’s address and arrest Jason for violating his parole. Things are finally starting to heat up for this storyline!

When Jason gets home he talks to Spinelli about the situation. Spinelli thinks that Sam is innocent. Amelia has more of an incentive to kidnap Jake than Sam does. Jason can’t let Sam off the hook just yet. He thinks that she’s hiding something. As they are talking, Sam comes home. She is surprised to see him out of jail. He tells her that Diane bailed him out. Jason asks her questions about the kidnapping. She tells him that she had nothing to do with it. She is angry that he doesn’t trust her. Spinelli tries to calm them both down, which annoys Sam. She yells at him to leave because it’s none of his business. He scampers out. Poor little buddy. Sam is offended that he doesn’t trust her when he’s the one that’s been lying to her all these months. She thinks that the one he should be questioning is Elizabeth. She thinks that it is suspicious that Elizabeth claims to have turned her back for a few moments and didn’t see anyone taking the baby. Jason says that Elizabeth would never do anything to the baby. Their argument is interrupted by Carly. She calls Jason on his cell phone to tell him about the visit from Jerry. She is very worried that he is planning something dangerous. He leaves Sam fuming.

Jason goes to meet Carly. She is waiting for him in the hotel boiler room. She is paranoid that Jerry may have bugged the hotel and the house. Unfortunately, she forgot that the door automatically locks when closed. They are stuck in the steaming boiler room with no cell phone reception. Steam is gushing out of a pipe and Jason ties his shirt around the leak. Too bad (for us) he’s wearing an undershirt! But that didn’t seem to stop Carly from letting her imagination, or memory for that matter, get to her. Did anyone notice how humungous his arms were?! Oh my!

Amelia chews Sam out a bit for showing up late for work, but she doesn’t want to hear it. Amelia tells Sam that the woman she interviewed refuses to sign the release to air the interview. Sam doesn’t want to make the woman sign the release. She has already been through enough and Sam doesn’t want to put her through it again. Maxie shows up with some dresses from the hotel boutique, but Sam doesn’t want to wear them. Maxie is amused that Sam has become a diva already. Since Sam was so nice to her when she needed it, Maxie asks her what is bothering Sam. Sam decides to confide in Maxie. She says that she and Jason are going through a rough patch. Maxie tells her that maybe she should just let Jason go. I’m beginning to think that isn’t such a bad idea.

He has a feeling that Sam and Amelia know something about the kidnapping. Meanwhile, Amelia calls the woman who lost her baby in the tragic fire. She refuses to let “Everyday Heroes” air the segment. She will not sign the paperwork. Amelia is shocked and confused by this.

He wanted to get Jax out of town so that he could have some time for them to get to know each other. He wants her to like him so that she could defend him to Sonny and Jason. Sounds a bit like high school, no?

Sonny walks into the coffee shop and finds Logan and Maxie having an argument. Sonny yells at Logan for slacking at work. Scotty barges into Sonny’s office. Scotty is convinced that Sonny has helped Luke kidnap Laura. He denies any involvement. When he leaves Sonny’s office, Scotty confronts Logan. He tells Logan that if he tries to attack him again he will fight back this time. Scotty leaves for Shady Brooke to see if he can get anything out of Tracy. She has been looking into Scotty’s past to find some dirt for leverage. The only person she has been confiding in while she has been in the nuthouse is Lulu. When Scotty comes into her room, he walks in on one of her arguments with Alan’s ghost.

Lulu asks Spinelli for help researching the woman that Tracy gave her. Unfortunately, he can’t find a link between Scotty and the woman…yet. Eventually, the conversation changes to Logan. (She believes that Scotty might be Logan’s biological father.) Lulu admits that she didn’t like Logan at first, but has warmed up to him a little. She is beginning to think that there might be more to him than just a rude bully. Sounds like the beginning of the next phase of their relationship. Then again, this is a soap, so maybe I should hold out my hopes for a few months.
