So, after all the obstacles they finally say their I dos. There are no major problems, only little annoying ones. Before the wedding Lulu does her best to try to be fair to her three “dates†but they are ruining the wedding with their bickering. She tells them she doesn’t want to date any of them and wants to remain single. Sonny does attend the wedding, but when it comes time for the objection, no one does. Later, the Quartermaines discuss how they were taking bets on if Sonny was going to break up the wedding. God, how I love the Quartermaines.
During the reception, Jax and Carly have their first dance. Spinelli daydreams about dancing with Lulu at their wedding. I like how in the fantasy sequence all the men are dressed like they’re in a 20’s gangster film. My favorite was Milo with the Newsie’s hat. (Remember the Disney musical?) Craig/Jerry is spying throughout the wedding reception hanging out in the bushes. I guess he’s trying to make sure that Nikolas and Robin behave. I’m actually surprised that they were even invited. Maybe Jax invited them?
Jason takes Sam home. She had a little too much to drink. She mentions that she saw Elizabeth staring at him while he was dancing with Carly. Come on Sam! You’re a smart girl, figure it out already! Maybe it’s obvious to me because I already know it’s his baby, but the girl was staring at him lovingly while rubbing her pregnant belly. Come on.
Sonny goes to a swanky hotel room and orders the best scotch they can find. Then he calls for a little company. Then while he’s drinking there’s a knocking at the door. It isn’t Eva, it is Amelia. Apparently she is lost. He lets her in and they talk. One thing leads to another and….time for bed! I can’t help but think that scheming little Amelia planed this.
