Ric has had Sam arrested. He tries to goad her by showing her pictures of Elizabeth and Jason together. What is wrong with Sam! She tries to escape in handcuffs for crying out loud! Stupid, stupid, stupid. And what is Jason thinking helping her? He could at least have taken off her handcuffs.
Today is Elizabeth’s birthday. Lucky goes to Nikolas for a favor: to lend him the money to buy a house for Elizabeth. Good move, Lucky. Elizabeth resists saying that it’s not fair to him because accepting would be promising a future that she can’t at this point. She is determined to go through with this divorce and raise her children on her own. And what’s happened with Lucky’s rehab? Did I miss something? Which is entirely possible since I continue to miss the beginnings of the episodes. Ha ha.
Carly confronts Sonny about sending Max to watch over her. He’s too distracted about Sam’s arrest to argue with her. He decides that he’s going to make Ric an offer that he can’t refuse. Molly. He tells Ric that he will convince Alexis to give Ric custody of Molly if he drops all the charges. And in order to convince Alexis he is willing to give up custody of Kristina. How is that going to help? I don’t see Alexis going for this.
Alexis summons Ric. She wants to talk about Sam’s arrest. They bicker. Blah, blah, blah. Boring. On a sad note, Alexis noticed for the first time her hair is beginning falling out due to the chemo.
Carly picks a date. November 16th. Her reasoning is that it’s far enough away to plan the wedding and not too close to the holidays. But that’s only two weeks. Granted, sometimes soap opera time is a lot slower than reality, but Halloween was the last episode so it’s two weeks in their time too. I guess they intend for it to be an extremely simple and small wedding. I think it would be kind of romantic to just have the kids and their best friends, Alexis and Jason. Although, I don’t know how that’s going to work out since Alexis is in the hospital. Hopefully she will be out soon. And Jason’s got his hands full, literally, with Sam.
Oh my god! The preview for the next episode made me laugh unintentionally. Jason is holding onto Sam who is hanging off of the rooftop ledge as the police bust in and yell, “Freeze! Freeze!†Well, what’s he supposed to do? Drop her?!
