General Hospital: Is Sam Saved?

Awwww....poor Sam. She survives a bullet in the back and a brain operation only to be dumped by her boyfriend. Note to Jason: Next time you break up with somebody...could ya wait at least 24 hours after she wakes up from brain surgery? Not that Jason doesn't have reason to leave her. The life of mobster isn't exactly going to get anybody lower insurance rates. He has finally realized that his lifestyle is deadly for everybody around him. Nobody cries like Kelly Monaco and she let loose today as Jason told her they couldn't be together. They were actually very well done scenese and kudos to Steve Burton and Kelly. We're also starting to get some bonding scenes between Alexis and Sam. Alexis' heart is breaking for her newfound daughter and I have to wonder if she's feeling any guilt about pushing Jason to make this decision.

Wow...time in the jungle really did wonders for Robin. She looked smokin' hot for her date with Patrick Drake...as did he. These two have super couple written all over them and I'm enjoying the ride. As hot as Patrick is...Robin had trouble concentrating due to being in the same room as Jax, Nikolas and Carly. Earlier in the evening she once again learned that Carly is involved in the paternity coverup of another baby. She doesn't have all the facts and planned on heading down to Patrick's hotel room for a little "doctor playing"...but one snark from Carly and she turned around. These two hate each other with a passion and I'd love to see Robin put the smackdown on her just once.

Like I said before...I hate the teen scene but today wasn't all that bad. Diego is slowly (very) growning on me and I guess I could see he and Georgie as a couple (if he has to stick around). I was shocked to see those two kiss...but not as much as Dillon, her hubby who walked into the prom at just the right (or wrong depending on your viewpoint) moment. And speaking of smackdowns....looks like one is coming for Diego tomorrow. I love Lesile Lu and hope we'll get some scenes tomorrow with her and Nikolas at the prom. I'm also hoping for scenes between Leslie Lu and Helena (she's no doubt due back in town now that Nikolas got a phone call that she's disappeared).

Sorry...I'm just not feeling the Sonny is manic storyline so far. For an actor who's lobbied to tell this story...Maurcie Benard seems to STILL be phoning it in.

For a Monday...this was a pretty decent show. Hope the rest of the week holds up.
Oh...but if they are even thinking of pairing Maxie with Lucky...shoot me now.
