General Hospital: Alexis Takes Control

As only a control freak can, Alexis takes matter into her own hands and decides to protect Sam from Jason and his lifestyle.

Alexis decides to drop the charges brought against everybody involved with Sam's illegal operation...even Jason. All is right with the world, right? Not quite...this is a soap opera afterall. Alexis drops the bomb that she's had Sam moved to a private clinic and won't tell Jason where that is. I love it! Jason had to know that as soon as he told Alexis the truth about Sam that she would stop at nothing to protect her. Alexis has always been overprotective of her children especially when the mob comes into play. A one night stand with Sonny resulted in baby Kristina and Alexis has fought to keep her safe since day one. The next big hurdle for Alexis is what will Sam do when she wakes up? Jason is the love her Sam's life and has accepted his lifestyle. However...she's also recovering from a gunshot would presumably meant for Jason. Is that the last straw?
Guess we'll have to wait for Sam to wake up and tell us.

Even though Alexis is one of the best characters on the show and the Sam/Jason/Lexi story has been riveting...it took a back seat to the Markaam (yes...I finally learned to spell this imaginary island name correctly) Islands...and I can't believe I just typed that. Its no secret I've hated this 24/7 slapsticky things we've been dealing with...but today we actually got heart to heart talks with the Scorpios and also between Luke and Leslie Lu. The Scorpio discussion of their lives together is EXACTLY what is misssing from General Hopsita's day to day storytelliing. There's just not enough of it. Not to mention the actors involved have worked together for over almost 20 years and it shows. Robert and Anna rank right up there with Luke and Laura in my book. The chemistry between Finola and Tristian is fantastic and it feels as if Kimberly (Robin) is really their daughter. If Genie Francis (Laura) doesn't want to come back anytime soon, the powers that be need to move heaven and earth to secure Finola in a contract.
