Excuse me while I scream like a lil school girl.....EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Anna Devane Scorpio is BACK! (I don't count her stint on All My Children so her last name ends as Scorpio for me)
Anna is one of my all time favorite General Hospital characters! The fake scar, the double agent for the DVX, her relationship with Duke, her marriage to Robert...ALL of it! I'm so happy to see and got a good laugh at her dropping out of the sky. And even though they barely looked at each other before she kicked the crap out of Robert...their chemistry is still there! I'm giddy with anticipation for next week. I want to see her interact with Robin, Robert, Luke and even Holly...that should be interesting! This episode is definitely staying on the DVR for the weekend. I'll be watching that last segment over and over!
Back in Port Chuck, half the hospital broke the law and decided to operate on Sam against Alexis' orders. I don't want Sam to die but part of me wishes something would happen to not Patrick down a notch. If I were Alexis, I would be furious...spitting mad.
Lady Jane and Carly meet again and as usual Lady Jane is none to please with Jax's latest love. Shouldn't Carly have known that nobody will ever measure up to Brenda in her eyes? She's going to have a fight on her hands if she thinks Carly is going to go quietly....if at all. The mention of Jerry brought back fond memories, too. With all the blast from the pasts being brought back to GH...Jerry is another that would be a welcomed return. A Jerry/Bobbie/Noah triangle would be juicy and would use some of the show's vets...something most soaps still have a problem doing....
Relatively speaking...a pretty great week for General Hospital. No...its not the greatness of the 80's but its also not the horrible mob infested show that it was not 5 or so years ago. Sure...Sonny takes up too much time. But not as much as he used to. And at least its not Sonny vs. "enemy of the week" which we dealt with for far too long. It's also nice to not deal with one of GH's famous catastrophes for a change.
I'm looking forward to next week and hope you are, too.
Happy Mother's Day Anna Devane Scorpio!
