HBO Renews "Entourage" for a Sixth Season

Entourage_Poster.jpg

Still haven't gotten your fill of Vince and his entourage living the Hollywood dream? Well have no fear because Vince isn't going anywhere.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, HBO has renewed their flagship show for a sixth season. Even though the ratings have been down this year this should be taken as a vote of confidence in the guys from Queens.

Creator Doug Ellin says the show will begin production in early 2009 with the season premiering that summer. Ellin seemed surprised by the renewal stating, "I never imagined when we started that we would make it to six seasons." and praised HBO "for allowing the show to grow and mature." Entourage can be called many things but I don't think "mature" would be the first word to leap into my mind but I'm happy nonetheless.

My personal opinion is that they just want Jeremy Piven to keep winning the Emmy . . .
