Stars Align for Entourage

It was announced today that Jeffrey Tambor of Arrested Development fame and Jamie-Lynn Sigler of The Sopranos are making appearances, joining Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester and rapper turned actor T.I. in the 5th season of the HBO hit show.

According to Kristin over at E! Jamie-Lynn Sigler will have a 3 episode arc playing herself AND a potential love interest for one of the boys (can anyone say Eric?) Kristin also reports that the former "Pop Pop" is playing himself but there is no word yet how big a role Tambor wil be playing.

My hope is that George Bluth, er Tambor will play some sort of nemesis of Ari, which is much needed since the departure of Malcolm McDowell as Ari's former partner Terence.

According to Rex Lee who plays Ari's suffering assistant Lloyd, Fran Drescher will also make a cameo this season. Drescher joins Eric Roberts, Gary Cole, golfer Phil Mickelson, rapper Bow Wow and Mark Wahlberg himself who all make cameos this year.

Entourage is deep into production and the first episode is slated to air September 7th and not on September 28th as was first announced, which is great news!

I can't wait for this awesome show to come back full stride. Anyone else out there who can't wait??
