My Name Is Earl wins yet another prestigious award - the Environmental Media Award. The star-filled audience rose to their feet in thunderous aplause as MNIE beat out The New Adventures of Old Christine and The Simpsons (one of which is my other favorite show, the other of which I can't watch for fear of excruciatingly painful stomach cramps and the resultant nausea and diarrhea - I'll leave it to you to figure which is which).
The environmentally-sensitive episode causing this amazing accomplishment is the ep titled Robbed A Stoner Blind with guest star Christian Slater portraying a gooped-up feces-composting hemp-wearing grid-shunning environmentalist named Woody (as in Harrelson).
The episode was particularly memorable for Catalina's claymation dance. And for being broadcast prior to TV Fodder's blogging of MNIE.
The EMA awards have been presented since 1991. Who knew?
