Alyssa Milano to Join Cast of My Name Is Earl

TVGuide.com's Michael Ausiello is reporting that starting in November of 2007 Alyssa Milano will be appearing in a minimum of eight episodes of My Name is Earl as a potential love interest for the titular Jason Lee.

This will reunite her with MNIE's Jaime Pressly (Joy Turner) who guest starred in the Season 5 premiere of Charmed.

Milano's bustout (pun intended) role was as Samantha Micelli on TV's Who's the Boss? She has also appeared in other television shows such as Melrose Place, Spin City, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, and Family Guy, but she is probably best known for her eight years on Charmed. Her film work includes such classic films as Casualties of Love: The Long Island Lolita Story, Embrace of the Vampire, Confessions of a Sorority Girl, Deadly Sins, and Poison Ivy II: Lily. The multi-tattooed pixie is a spokesperson for PETA, pens a well-respected major league baseball blog, and has a pretty darn nice rack.

It should be noted that Ms. Milano is approximately 5' 2" tall, and Mr. Lee is listed at 6' 1-1/2". The character of Stepladder has yet to be cast.

My Name Is Earl season premiere hits the airwaves with a one hour special on Thursday September 27 at 8/7c.
