Jason Lee's New Projects Include "Krater," "Underdog"

Reuters is reporting that Jason Lee will play a rock star in a new movie called, "Krater", a comedy about a 70's rock band that achieves overnight success after hiring a new lead singer with an eye on Broadway.

The movie is based on an idea and will be produced by Lee and Scott M. Martin. Filming is set to begin in May after My Name Is Earl wraps for the season.

Lee and Martin collaborated previously on "Almost Famous," in which Lee also portrayed a rock star.

Lee's next project will be voicing the title character in the live-action remake of Disney's "Underdog".
