Sami gives EJ a nice big kiss on the mouth after a bout of jealousy with Nicole. I am sure this is going to go over just great. After Sami gets confused and asks what she has done which EJ then makes a joke out of. Sami takes off and leaves EJ and Nicole to discuss what just happened. Really, is it necessary?

Sami is, of course, upset. She immediately goes to the Brady pub to get some alcohol in her, the logical choice to make after kissing your husband. She tries to get ahold of Lucas on the phone but has no luck whatsoever. EJ watches from a distance as she freaks out about this. While Caroline tries to calm her down EJ approaches and asks how he can help and she yells at him.

Rolf, former evil scientist, has now apparently taken to babysitting Sami's twins. If you had told me something like this was going to happen twenty years ago, I think I may have laughed in your face.

Chelsea tells Daniel in the steam room that she wants him to stay in Salem. He says that he has a past and wants her to back off. She thinks that perhaps he was lying before or was just using his past to let her down. She wonders if he is just worried that she will die like his wife died. Somehow this leads to them making out again. I don't know about you but I still think of Chelsea as a teenager and something is wrong about this. She asks if he didn't feel anything and he says that he did and that is a problem. To her, of course, it's not a problem at all.

John, Marlena, Sami, and EJ all discuss the data disc that is now missing and how it could have possibly gone missing. Naturally, everyone is accusing each other and everyone has a theory as to why the disc has gone missing. Pretty curious, considering that John wasn't even that interested in the disc to begin with. John complains to the security company and then tells Marlena that it is clear that the person was either a professional or a relative.

It is well agreed that Bo shouldn't be involved with the murder case of Ava's former doctor, so of course Hope is assigned to the case - she's interested in it and gets it easily. Yet somehow when she is talking about it with Bo she asks how "they" are going to nail the criminal.

Sami and EJ have yet another Nicole related argument and this time Nicole is even there to witness it. She tells Nicole that she is clearly using her sick dog to get close to EJ - Nicole claimed her dog was sick or something similarly ridiculous. To punctuate her feelings for EJ, she goes over and gives him a nice big kiss.

She can't believe he's using the "age" thing and asks if he is married. Bourah, bourah, ew. They talk about a future relationship and Daniel says that there is no chance for one between them.

A little later, Chelsea and Nick meet up at the pub and she just lets him have it. She breaks up with him, that is. Of course, he takes it well and says that they will always be friends. How wonderful for them.

Marlena looks at the new portrait of her and John asks if she likes it. She says it's a little much - it's embarrassing and asks him to take it down. He says it's a monument to their history - the roller coaster ride of their past. She asks what he knows of their past and he said that someone filled him in but he can't say. Sami comes in and says that she is the one that told him everything. Marlena wishes that she hadn't and John says that apparently they could both be jerks when it was necessary. He brings up some stuff she is not interested in being repeated.

Sami welcomes EJ back and asks where he was and he says he was with a potential client. She says it was clear he was with Nicole. They argue about this point and he says he has some new clients and he says that they should go to the mall. She says they should focus on moving out. She then mentions the encounter with John the previous night where they bonded - and she feels guilty for some of the things she said.

Nicole goes to the police station to ask them to help with being thrown out of her own home and Roman walks her out and then goes back to speaking with Ava. Ava asks where she is supposed to go and Roman says it's not his concern so long as she doesn't leave town. They get a phone call from the pub where, apparently, Bo went "ballistic" and punched Ava's father.

EJ and Sami are intrigued by John and Marlena's discussion but when the fax machine lights up EJ goes for it. There is a round of get-the-fax from EJ but he prevails and it turns out that his visa was renewed. One fewer thing about which we need to worry. Then Sami says they can now get their marriage annulled and he somehow construes this to mean that she likes him.

Bo and Martino argue. Bo says if it weren't for him, his father would still be alive and calls him an SOB. What a badass. Bo then tells him to turn around and put his hands behind his head and begins arresting him. Ava comes in and asks what is going on and he says that her father is going down and there's nothing she can do - and she agrees, oddly enough. Bo starts reading his rights only to be stopped mid right reading by Roman and Abe who have reason on their side - there are no charges to be brought.

Ava is about to leave but Martino stops her and she says she wants nothing to do with him as she is finally see him as he really is - she finally feels free. Ava tells them that she can help them if they help her and they agree that they should put her up at the Salem Inn. Abe thinks that might be a bad choice as Steve and Kayla STILL live there and she promises not to bother them.

Martino tells his thugs that they have to take care of Patch and Bo.

Roman tells Bo to leave the police work to police who don't have messed up body parts and he says that they have to get him before he moves on to others.

Bo comes in a little later with some convincing of his own. He gets Martino's thugs out of the way and then starts talking mano a mano with Martino himself. Sadly, not much is done in this conversation.

Max and Stephanie start out pretty well but then end up arguing about Nick's grant proposal. He tells her that he spent the night copying it over and she suspects that it would take less than all night to just copy a dirtied grant proposal. Nick comes around and manages not to find his grant proposal which he left behind and takes off, saying he will deal with it later since Chelsea is far more important to him.

Abe and Lexie talk about their relationship but then Roman comes in and Lexie tells him that Ava is ready to face the noise for everything she did. She, of course, hears everything. Not too much later, it is not only revealed that Ava's former therapist was murdered but she has also made bail. Wonderful.

After some quality time talking with both her father and Nick, Chelsea gets to see Doctor Jonas, who tells her that he is apparently not leaving Salem any time soon. He doesn't know what to do about her since he doesn't seem to want to get involved - well, Nick still is in the picture, right? She tells him to go with what he is feeling and kisses him. Cheating is cheating, I say.

EJ and Nicole meet up in a dark alley and he gives her money in thanks for her excellent testimony. She apparently told Mr. Burke that Sami and he were deeply in love. She tells EJ that she would really go after him if he weren't already involved with Sami and her lawyer. They talk about the lawsuit and her plans for after it is all done. She says that she wants to stay in Salem.

Alas. Another episode with not all that much to it.

Ava lays helplessly as Kayla tells Ava's father that the drugs that Ava was taking were making her more psychotic as time went on. Ava can't believe that Doctor Nussbaum would give her drugs like that. Her father assures her that everything is going to be okay.

Chelsea has a nice whinge session for the duration of this episode. She complains to just about everyone and anyone that will listen that she is thinking about breaking up with Nick and trying to see if she can make something work with Doctor Jonas, because she has decided that she loves him.

Sami and EJ go to see Mr. Burke at the police station and there are different levels of success, so to speak. John is there to speak on their behalf and he says that while he has in fact lost his memory, he has observed them over the period of the last few months and knows that they are definitely in love. Nicole is also there to speak on their behalf but we have no idea what she says.

Finally, Sami and EJ go to speak for themselves and they present a pretty good case, I think. EJ talks about how he met and fell in love with Sami. The one slight flaw is that at one point, Nicole provokes Sami and she attacks her. Later, Nicole says that it probably won't look so great to Mr. Burke. After Nicole leaves, Sami has a good cry on EJ's shoulders.

John tells Marlena that if she wants to use his computer, he'll need something in return from her. It involves making out, of course. When EJ and Sami walk in he tells them not to interrupt when he is hard at work with Doc and Sami immediately thinks this means that the old John is back. Rolf drops the tray he was carrying when he hears this. Oh of course this isn't the case. They start talking about redecorating and John says he wants to get rid of the portrait of Stefano. I wonder if this is how the disc is found. Shock! They remove the portrait and the wall safe is revealed.

They open up the safe and find the disc. John puts it aside and says he will look at it later. This somehow leads to a discussion about John testifying on behalf of EJ.

Kayla says that the pills that Ava is taking are only making her worse, not better. Who is surprised? I guess that suspense from yesterday wasn't really warranted. Apparently they are anti-seizure drugs that make her just a little bit crazy. We find out that Ava attempted to kill herself after Patch left her at the altar.

A rather rough looking man talks to Earl - who isn't the character from the hit NBC show with a name that involves Earl - but rather the jerk that threatened Stephanie. He says he shouldn't worry about anything and Earl is relieved. A little later, Earl is suddenly dead on the ground and the man tells his people to take care of the rest.

Ava smiles when the very same man comes in and says he got there as soon as he could. Kayla asks who he is and he says that he is Ava's father.

Lexie and Abe are sad that their date didn't go so great. She says that she is quite worried about Bo. They discuss their relationship and how they have to work hard to make it work. In short, it's just like any other relationship that is actually realistic.

Max and Nick talk about calculations and how Nick may have made some errors in his calculations. Things just never stop being exciting in this town called Salem, am I right?

Patch and Kayla are sleeping on the couch along with Stephanie. They all wake up and are happy to be together again. They say that they have to stay out of trouble and keep safe. Stephanie talks about being in love with Max.

Ava does what is best described as "pitching a fit" and calls out for her father. She gets some drugs from her nurse. Stephanie comes to see her and tell her off and of course Ava behaves quite erratically.

Kayla has some tests done on the drugs that Ava has been taking and tells Lexie that she won't believe what they are. Are you in suspense?

Daniel is in the pub, talking about how he is no longer Chelsea's doctor. Now this is just a little bit confusing. First he took excellent care of her, and now suddenly he is taking himself off the case? He says that he apparently got a little too close for comfort. Well, there hasn't been a crisis with Nick in awhile so maybe this is going to be that crisis.

Tony and Anna have a strange conversation but the long and short of it is that he is still in love with her and regrets hurting her in any way. They have quite an interesting make out (or make up) session soon after this. Tony still has to keep business and pleasure separate so when he meets with an associate he asks her to leave.

The nurse goes to see Chelsea. Needless to say, when word gets out that Daniel is no longer her doctor, she gets really upset. Not that she says that she is upset - she just makes it quite obvious that she is. She calls Stephanie, who is in the midst of a hot makeout session, to ask what is going on. Stephanie tells her indirectly that he is downstairs. They discuss this at great length. Too great.

Apparently Chloe is en route to Zurich. So says Philip to Abe. He responds that she is just going to reunite with her husband. Philip gets a call and Abe goes to talk to Roman about the Vitali problem. Philip says that he wants to make sure that Chloe can't press charges.

Bo gets upset because he wants to take Chelsea home and they won't let him. Doctor Jonas comes in and tells him to knock it off. This leads to an argument about how she shouldn't have done the procedure to begin with. Chelsea wakes up and says that she trusts the good doctor. Daniel feels that he has failed Chelsea and he confides as much in Lexie. He tells her he feels he has to take himself off her case because he is too emotionally invested.

At the police station, Roman and Abe tell Paul that if he admits that John bribed him, they will drop all charges. I wonder how this is going to turn out. I bet he refuses to do it. They get nothing out of him, of course. They next go to see John and ask him if he offered cash for delaying the Kiriakis cargo and John says it would be bribery to do so. John asks Roman if he shouldn't be chasing after real criminals.

Sami and EJ have a long and weird conversation about Allie and Johnny. They discuss which of their children is the less mature and then EJ tells Sami that they have to fall in love that evening so that they can pass the immigration test. It's not quite like cheating on the SAT but it sounds an awful lot like it.

Ava is at the police station getting questioned when suddenly she has a bit of what seems like a seizure. Roman tries to help her but to no avail.

Chloe and Nicole talk about Brady and how he is in Switzerland at a rehab clinic and Nicole basically pins it on Chloe - it's clearly her fault that he became addicted to drugs to begin with.

Tom tells Stephanie that he will kill her. Oh no! Here comes a week long hostage situation. Actually, DOOL really surprised me here. It's not long at all before Max shows up and tells him to put down the knife since the police is on the way and he obviously won't really stab her since he would have done it already. Max saves Stephanie, hooray!

Chelsea is in the hospital and doesn't feel so great. Doctor Jonas tells everyone that there is some pretty bad news and proceeds to take the entire episode to put off telling us. After yet another distraction - Ava is brought into the hospital - Doctor Jonas tells her that her fallopian tubes were damaged so she will never be able to have children.

Abe and Roman get together at the pub where they discuss the kidnapping of Hope, Kayla, Bo and Steve. They can 't believe that somehow the four of them got involved in something that started as Patch being with Martino Vitali's daughter.

Kayla enters the bedroom just in time to see Patch and Ava together. She is of course outraged but her husband calms her down and he doesn't even have to use the strategy that Eddie Murphy refers to as saying that it wasn't him.

Bo manages to get himself free and then knocks the guards out. After untying Hope they go into the bedroom where they find everyone arguing and Patch manages to grab the gun from Ava. Good going, Patch. He points out that they shouldn't leave because Stephanie might be in danger - how would their staying help her? They call her and she answers not - as she is busy being with Max.

Soon, Abe and Roman are at the compound and they manage to swoop in and arrest Ava. Soon Angelo makes a phone call and tells someone that "It's a go."

Victor and Nicole have a long argument about Nicole being kicked out of the house as well as Chloe. Nicole says that she has some dirt on him and is not afraid to use it. It is later resolved when Philip says that Chloe should not have been kicked out.

Max and Stephanie are together and they are quite friendly with one another. Max even asks mysterious bartender Pete if he can cover for him and he of course agrees and so Max and Stephanie get to have some more 'them' time. The whole time that they are together, the creepy guy that has been following Stephanie keeps an eye on her. Naturally, the very second that Max takes off, the creepy guy confronts Stephanie and tells her that she had better not move or she will die. How nice of him.

Daniel gives a good yell at the nurse for not telling him that Chelsea's temperature had gone up. Tony comes to visit with flowers. See, Andre as Tony never would have done that. He and Kate talk about the commercial and how it's ready to go.

Lexie and Abe talk about how she is worried that Bo, Hope, Steve, and Kayla are all missing. They think about telling Chelsea the truth but then they realize that they are on Days of our Lives and so they go ahead and tell her that her father is just so busy at the office. Yeah, they really tell her that. Guess what? She doesn't believe it.

Patch wakes up in bed next to Ava. How nice. Much prattling. She says Kayla's baby is going to be hers now thanks to his leaving her. He tells her that he left because he knew things just weren't right. Yes, we have already heard this once. He says he's not Patch anymore - he is Steve Johnson. Huh. We all still call him Patch. He then tells her that he will give her her own baby so that she won't have to take Kayla's baby. She seems pretty okay with it and then she goes to town on him.

Recycling posters are to be put up in the Brady pub - that's the right thing to do the day after Earth Day. Stephanie and Max talk about how she is worried that her parents are missing and meanwhile, a creepy guy looks on. There is ironically a power outage and everyone but Max and Stephanie have to leave.

Ava and Kayla talk about the drugs that Ava is taking, not that she very well wants to talk about the drugs. She realizes that Ava must have attempted suicide and Ava says it's all down to what Patch did to her.

Rolf looks at the disc that contains all of John's memories and thinks back to Stefano draining said memories. He puts it back into the safe when Marlena comes into the room and they discuss what he was or was not doing. Once they're all done discussing that Sami comes in to have a complain session about EJ. EJ is listening to this complain session and walks in at just the right time.

As Max and Stephanie dance around the now dark pub he tells her that he loves her and yes, that creepy guy is still looking on.

Sami and EJ have a fun and exciting escapade at the gym - presumably the same gym where Lucas had to give EJ CPR due to electric shock from saving Sami's life. Anyhow, Sami has the kids with the gym babysitter and they are there to get their workout on. Nicole is soon there and makes fun of Sami. Nicole's trainer (I think she's her trainer) is there to tell Nicole that she needs to really improve if she wants to get into better shape. A little later, Nicole takes it upon herself to play with one of Sami's kids and Sami flips out and yells at her and then gives her a nice punch. Nicole immediately wants to sue. Oh, Nicole.

Paul and John meet up and they talk about business. John asks Paul if he ever took money from Philip or Victor and he doesn't say anything so he has to assume that he means that he did. What he should be asking is where Ringo and George are. I'm kidding. I don't know why it took me this long to make that connection. Paul says he didn't take any money from the Kiriakis family. They discuss matters further and John gives him some money and tells him not to worry as things will sort themselves out.

A little later John is at the gym where he overhears Philip asking about Chelsea. He calls Paul and tells him that the time is right to make a move because the Kiriakis family is busy with a family crisis. Speaking of John, Nicole tells Sami that she has a date with him. She is none too pleased.
