Today was yet another astonishingly slow episode - and let me tell you, this week isn't looking too hot, either. It's all about Bo and whether he will make it or not. How it took less time for everyone to crash the plane and then get rescued than this storyline is beyond me.
Chelsea spends the entire episode detoxifying. Daniel yells at her and gives her a hard time, but for a good reason - he says that getting her heart pumping fast will get the alcohol out of her body sooner. Maybe they should install treadmills in all frat houses so that people who get ridiculously drunk can work some of it off.
Another slight problem that I have with the episode is the fact that they basically knock Bo out so that he doesn't have to give his consent to have the operation done. He pretty clearly states that he doesn't want to have the operation done. Can a case be made that he's not in a proper state of mind to make such decisions and that what has to be done is the thing that will be in his best interest?
Oh, and then there's the John bribing the customs officer storyline. Dull, dull, dull. He's trying to dominate the shipping industry in Salem. Entirely yawn-worthy and skippable. Your fast forward button will wear out soon. Sorry.
