Days of Our Lives: An Extended Nap

Kate tears Doctor Jonas a new one for not properly caring for Chelsea. She apparently thinks that Chelsea is the only important patient in the hospital. After the good doctor leaves as a fracture of his former self, Kate wonders aloud if Chelsea has a crush on him. She denies everything. Therefore, she must have a crush on him.

Bo and Kayla take turns saying the other one should be taking better care of themselves in one way or another. Bo says that it's too bad that Bo can't see Shawn and Belle off, or their new boat for that matter. Soon, Patch is there to take Kayla home. She couldn't ride the bus like the rest of us.

Bo and Doctor Jonas argue about the choice to do the operation. Bo wants to thank Chelsea for everything but the good doctor tells him that taking an extended nap would be better and gives him some medication.

Hope isn't on the phone for too long when she is suddenly attacked by a chloroform-touting Ava. She thinks back to telling Ava that she loved Steve. Oh, if only she had spoken more clearly. Had she only said that everyone loves him like a friend. Ava takes her to the Angelo-mobile where somehow Angelo seems to have found them. Ava calls Hope Kayla, which throws her off.

Ava then tells her that she needs to be out of Steve's life. As Ava takes a time out to talk with Angelo (but nobody else whose name starts with A), Hope suddenly remembers what Steve said about someone going for Kayla. She tells nobody in particular that she will find a way out.
