Days of Our Lives: All is Fair in Love and Dock Working

Kate and Chelsea talk about love and how she does or does not have a thing for Doctor Jonas. Curiously he is not too far away - he never seems to be too far away when people are talking about him. Apparently the good doctor is also an avid surfer and therefore can't wait to get out to Nicaragua to catch some waves. Apparently California just isn't cool anymore.

Stephanie wonders why Max is working on the docks and he says that he is doing his community service. Whatever happened to community service that involved picking up trash off the street?

Philip and Chloe talk about the mystery phone call and how Philip had the call translated. She swears that she had nothing to do with Brady's disappearance. Naturally when the long and rambling phone call is over she says that he wouldn't care for her if he knew what was really going on - this is after he is out of earshot.

Belle and Shawn spend quality time at the pub. He then takes her outside where he says that he wants an entirely new beginning with her and asks her to marry him all over again. This new beginning, of course, is just the beginning of the end for Shawn and Belle on DOOL - for now, we hope. Yup, they make the decision to tell everyone they're going to take off.

Later, Stephanie comes by the pub and Caroline asks about Max. He apparently stops by the cemetery to chat it out with Shawn Senior's grave. Long lasting tradition, it seems. Well, not that long. Stephanie soon finds him and they talk about his adopted father.

Max shows her a coin that he gave him and how he will carry it always until he has the right person to whom to pass it on. They start to leave but then Stephanie goes back and tells Shawn Senior's grave that she loves his son. Good thing they're not actually related.
