Days of Our Lives: Sold For Five Hundred Dollars

It has really been a crazy week so far. What has happened? Let's review. Max has been somehow convinced that he should let himself be auctioned to raise money for a charity so that Chelsea and Stephanie can get into the sorority of their choice.

Kayla and Steve are in a whole new world of trouble. Thanks to Pocket somehow getting poisoned yet again, he was taken away by Child Protective Services. Naturally, Steve is quite upset by this all. I wonder if he considered that when he held Stefano hostage at the television station. That doesn't exactly look good as a parent, does it? Things get even more complicated when Philip comes in and announces that their adopted son Pocket is actually his biological son, Tyler. They just don't believe that Pocket is actually Tyler and goad him into agreeing to get a DNA test. He has no problem doing this.

In better news, Stefano comes by and tells Steve and Kayla that he decided to drop all charges against Steve. I am guessing this is so that he will be free to be attacked on the street. In worse news, the people at Child Protective Services decide they are going to go after Steve and Kayla with charges of child endangerment.

EJ tells Sami and Lucas that they are free to have their marriage annulled as his father got annulment papers from the church. Lucas pleads with them to allow them twenty-four hours to consider this although EJ says that if they don't sign, the vendetta will start right back up again. There is a lot of back and forth but Sami and Lucas say that now that Andre is basically out of commission, there is no need for their marriage to end. EJ is left alone in the pub and tells the walls that a lot can happen in a day. How creepy of him.
