Chelsea hints that perhaps they would be getting closer physically if Nick had his own place. She sees a place marked in a newspaper and thinks it must be his wanting to get his own place. This is when Willow comes and asks for her newspaper and Chelsea gets to thinking they slept together. Not so, says Nick. He just helped her out. He is only helping because she might go to the police about the missing hairbrush. He admits that he paid for an apartment for Willow and Chelsea tells him that he needs to get rid of him.
Belle and Shawn debate over whether they will find Claire. Shawn is a negative Nancy. Belle says they should go and see John. If only he would talk back.
EJ and Tony argue over Sami and her yet to be born child. Tony's biggest priority is getting Stefano in good health again. EJ doesn't want Sami or the baby to be hurt. Sami is upset because she says they're not sure who the father is and EJ tells her about how they know now thanks to Celeste. EJ tells her that the child won't be hurt at all. When Sami sees that Tony isn't in prison she gets a little panicked. They basically have to force her into surgery.
Marlena begs John to wake up. Heck, if it hasn't worked the last five months, why now? Obviously the reason is because this is Days, and there's no such thing as a permanent coma on Days. En route to see John, Shawn sees Willow, who thinks perhaps he may be interested in the welfare of his baby. While Willow and Shawn have what seems like a rambling, pointless argument, Belle has what seems to be a monologue because that's basically what happens when you talk to someone in a coma.
Tony tells EJ that they're going to take Sami's fetus. Uhm, that means no baby. EJ is less than chuffed. He basically says it will have to be over his dead body and Tony has a good guffaw at that, indicating that won't be a problem. Well no wonder Stefano has to keep on procreating - his children keep on killing each other!!
