EJ goes to see Stefano but sees Tony DiMera instead. Let's see... Tony is EJ's half brother - same father, of course. Tony tells him that he has to come back with Sami or it's game over. Tony says that EJ is essentially useless. If you thought that EJ was hostile, Tony makes him look like Mrs. Butterworth. Tony gives him an hour to get Sami.
Lucas wants to feel for the baby kicking but fails. Alas. They discuss EJ and how Lucas felt it was so hard to not kill him. There's a knock at the door - EJ is there but suddenly he isn't. He has left an envelope with a copy of The Knot - they want a follow up article. Sami says she will be right back but of course she won't.
Hope asks Marlena why her children keep being taken away by the Almighty. Apparently Claire was her child. I guess it works if you consider your grandchildren the same as your children, which some people do. Enter Philip and Bo. Bo tells them about Belle's condition and Philip whinges. He says that he knows that Claire is dead so they should let her rest in peace. Perhaps Philip would like some cheese to go with that whine.
Belle has a John Black dream. He says he knows who is alive and who is dead, and he knows Claire is well. He's like G-d on the Jewish New Year. He tells her that it's up to her to find her. Marlena comes to comfort her and tells her that Claire is in heaven now and Belle tells her - au contraire. No, she doesn't really phrase it like that even though she does speak french. She tells her about the dream. Everyone seems to think it's a bit farfetched but Marlena says she has had John dreams too.
Lucas gets a visit from Celeste who tells him that Sami is in trouble. She says the purpose of the baby was to save Stefano. Speaking of Sami, she only just gets in her car when EJ kerchiefs her mouth and tells her that he is really, really sorry. We freeze frame on a no longer awake Sami.
