Somehow Chelsea manages to draw a comparison between her situation with Lonely Splicer and that of the late confederate soldier whose skeletal remains were found by Mimi and Max. Abby and Nick talk about the Lonely Splicer and Nick realizes that he can't out himself because he won't ever live up to her standards of what Lonely Splicer means.
Lucas and Sami, en route to a ski resort, get trapped in a snow bank. Sami remembers seeing a cabin a few miles back. They find the cabin eventually and relax by the fireplace. They agree that they belong together. They talk about the brief moment that Lucas was married to Carrie and how jealous Sami was during that time.
Word on the street, an officer tells Bo and Roman, is that EJ is not in his apartment. Off to work! Marlena reminds John that he is out and he promises to only offer advice from the station at best.
Patrick confronts Hope at the pub and she says she isn't going with him - and he reminds her that they have a deal. She tells him that he should cut a deal with the police and he says he can't do that. He pulls out a gun and tells her they are leaving. He calls Chelsea and tells her to tell Bo what he's doing and Chelsea does so. Bo gets the call and it is decided that John has to go with Roman instead of Bo as Bo will be off to rescue his wife - just as EJ planned, undoubtedly. He takes her to a strange undisclosed location, of course - one that oddly is like where Jennifer and Jack met up with the gravelly voice. No coincidence, I assume.
John heads on down to the docks where EJ agreed to meet Sami only instead of surprising EJ, he is surprised with a gun to his head - held by EJ. EJ has a radio jammer which ruined John's wire. John tells him that all roads out of the twon are blocked and that he is surrounded and asks, "You expected me to help you escape?" He answers, "No, I expect you to die." We freze frame here.
