Days of Our Lives: Hope Falls For It (Again)
Good thing Belle was wearing that ridiculously long, silken nightgown with it being so hot and the air conditioning being broken and all. And good thing she spends all of her time eavesdropping on Mimi and Shawn and won't just get her own life. I mean - does she have any friends? Hobbies? Does she brush her teeth or watch television? Does she eat? Apparently no to all of the above.
Um - that flashback of Mimi/Shawn/Belle at age 5 was ridiiiiculous. But I loved the casting of Mimi as the brazen ballbuster. Awesome.
When are Chelsea and Hope gonna have a fist fight? If I were either one of the Skeletors I'd have punched the other long ago. And I can't believe that Hope still falls for each and every one of Chelsea's tricks. Like a fly to honey.
Is anyone with me that Austin just makes up all his lines as he goes along? It's like he knows the basic idea of what needs to get said, but beyond that it's a mystery what will actually come out - besides lots of oafish laughter.
D'ya think EJ and Kate are gonna hook up? That would be dirty and horrible, but in a really great way.
Is anyone else dreading dum, dum, dum... THE TRIAL? I just know it's going to last weeks and weeks and become the core of every episode and nothing's really going to happen and it's going to be an excuse for everyone to come together even though they really have no reason to be there and chat in meaningless ways. God help us all.

I'm not sure how this is going to work, but I have my fingers crossed it's gonna happen:
So the trial of Skeletor Jr goes on and on and on (it'll be Salem's Scopes trial ... or maybe OJ redux) and somewhere around September the writers will work it so Mimi has to take the stand. How? Why? I don't know.
But here's where it gets good. During cross-examination, she's somehow forced to reveal ...

belle's schtick is getting sooo old. she really doesn't have anything else to do! her family is loaded, she doesn't have a job, she dresses like a middle-aged woman, and she certainly doesn't give her own husband any pleasure. USELESS!
i think it's hilarious that an 18 year old girl is pulling the wool over the eyes of a 40something year old woman. in a fight with Skeletor and Skeletor Jr., i'd actually put my money on Jr.! hope's advantage is age, but chelsea's pretty wiley. and her bones probably aren't as brittle.
yeah, i'm starting to wonder if Days writers are slowly setting up a love triangle between sami/kate/EJ. watching kate hook up with the brit would be most amusing, definitly.
