Days of Our Lives: A Conversation

I wish instead of posting today, I could have an audio clip of the phone conversation I had with my little brother immediately following the episode. It went something like this:

*phone rings*

*Amy picks up*

Amy: "In addition, you can also have all of our antiques and all of my wife's personal possessions."
Trevor: "Ignore the maniac."
A: "Haha - right! I love how he never raises his voice. Ever!"
T: "And his superevil powers have somehow been upped in the past week - now he's able to stop all ground communication? What does that even mean?"
A: "I mean - is that possible? And was that John's Blackberry just not working? What did he think he'd be able to do with it anyways? Control the airways?"
T: "And Roman and Abe just stand there like nimrods. I love how they just sort of always show up at the right time. And then just kind of stand around. And then have the same conversation."
A: "Well, Abe showed up because he couldn't have SEX with Lexie. I mean - he had to go SOMEWHERE."
T: "True, true. Ack - and did you hear Phillip's noises during sex with Belle?"
A: "It sounded like he was in pain. Ack! What is the deal with Belle?"
T: "There's just something wrong with her. And Mimi. Burning the letter and thinking Shawn wouldn't see? When he was across the room at the table?"
A: "Well, and are we supposed to think Shawn is retarded? That letter was like 10 pages long and she "read" him a paragraph. And then she burns the letter and he just goes "Oh hunny, I like mush - don't burn it." I mean - that didn't raise a couple red flags with him?"
T: "I don't even know anymore. I really don't."
A: "What else, what else...?"
T: "Oh OH - Sami awkwardly discussing volunteering at the hospital, answering phones?"
A: "Yes! And then pausing and going "Should we go dancing?"
T: "Ha! At least Austin acknowledged the bizarreness of it with an eyebrow raise. Everyone else just thought it was totally normal. And then they never brought up Lexie again!"
A: "And Lexie, at the bar, ordering a candy apple martini. She's soooo cooooool."
T: "Haha. And of course they all show up at the same place. Dum dum dum..."
A: "Oh, my friends in Salem. What would I do without you."
T: "I know, I know. Okay, man, I've gotta go to class."
A: "Okay. Talk to you later. Bye."
T: "Bye."

Well. I think that pretty much sums it up.

Dr. Alex North's powers know no bounds. He can turn normal jetliners into stealth planes with a single phone call to the cockpit. Stunning.

BTW, drunk Lexie kicks sober Lexie's ass.
