Alex North is getting sloppy, John Black is getting wiser and Marlena’s starting to catch on. These days, she spends much of her time fantasizing about John, treating us viewers to some of the most awkward sex scenes we’ve ever witnessed. I can’t imagine what it must be like to act opposite from him and be subjected to that same squinty-eyed-one-brow-raised-mouth-puckered facial expression over and over and over again, year after year after year. Do you think the director even bothers giving him direction anymore, or simply lets him go wild? Whatever the answer may be, I’m intrigued to see what Mr. Black has up his ISA sleeve now—and how Alex plans to explain his way out of overmedicating Marlena with Tylenol PM and setting Louise’s old house on fire.
Carrie recovers from her mysterious attack of stomach cramps and Sami feigns interest in her health to let it be known: I want Austen and you better move out’ the way, sista. Lucas and Austen ask Carrie to choose between them, and Little Miss Perfect acts confused. Just in time, Sami jumps in to suggest a group dinner. This way, no one will be alone with anyone, and that’s better than nothing.
Tek and Lexie continue to be the only couple with sexual tension. That’s all.
Belle, pinched face and banana curls in place, continues to harass Shawn. It’s the night before his wedding, for the love, and she will not give up the fight to win him back. Shawn straightens her out, asking her not to come to the wedding if she can’t be happy for him and Mimi. Belle continues to scheme, though, and Mimi—very poorly attired this episode, may I add—continues to worry about losing Shawn because of her lies. Mimi’s nut job mother chews on a churro and tells Mimi to keep her big mouth shut. Hear, hear.
Belle's attempt at a Sami moment (Internal Voice: "I *have* to stop this wedding!) was the epitome of weak.
Belle, I know Sami Brady. Sami Brady is a friend of mine. You, madam, are no Sami Brady.

I am only a few minutes in and already I would like to say that it is tough stuff when Abe is forced to sit next to Tek. Are they trying to illustrate why Lexie would rather bang Tek, it's a no brainer.
