Days of Our Lives: Mimi Makes Her (Lame) Move

I played hooky from work today and roped my younger brother into watching DooL with me when the witching hour came. Oh, how I love hooking another unsuspecting soul onto the crack pipe of daytime drama. Anywho..

By far, the best moment of today was Sami's slow spin around in Lexie's office chair - right out of the book of Dr. Claw, Inspector Gadget's archrival. She just needed a little cat on her lap to complete the scene. But either way, this is the Sami I know, love and miss. Ms. Brady is back in action.

We were confused - was Mimi's big plan to guilt trip Belle into stopping stopping the wedding? That ain't gonna even come close to working, hunny. Belle has a crazed look in her eye that even John Black cannot calm. I think your mom had it right with the lasso idea. Stop questioning her neverending wisdom!

What in God's name does Alex North even have planned anymore? I thought his whole plan was to kill Marlena but today he says to her tranquilized body, "I'll kill you before I let John Black have you back" or something to that effect. Um - hasn't that always been what he's after? I really think they're making this whole plotline up as they go along.

I missed Bo Brady today. Sigh.
