The Biggest Loser: The Final Four

”BLoser-5.jpg"Tonight's two hours spent entirely too much time recapping the show. I mean, what’s going to happen in the finale? Better recaps?

The final five are looking great though; unfortunately one isn't going to the very end. Last season, wasn't it a final three? I think they added a person.

Heather kicked off the episode bitching about her injuries. What were her injuries? I must have missed that somewhere. She got into it with Kim. Not the best time to piss off your trainer.

On the other hand, Kai seems to be buddying up to Kim. Part of me wants to vote for Kai to win it all, but I can't stand that she is friends with Heather. She really irks me, and has done so since the first episode.

As a nice little reward for everyone's hard work, it was time to "train the trainers." The contestants got to make the trainers work a little bit. I would have liked to see Bob pull Erik on the dolly, but instead, everyone seemed to be too busy mastering their megaphones.

Speaking of Erik: Did anyone notice how thin his face has gotten? Assuming all goes well when he goes home, he might just take the whole game.

Matt and Suzy showed up to check in on everyone. Matt looks good, but his face has filled out a bit since last season's finale. I'm not bashing the guy. I'm sure he was using some of his wrestling know-how to get down to his lowest weight possible to win the game. Suzy still looked hot.

After the pep talk, it was time for Caroline to collect her paycheck. She presented the final challenge -- a triathlon. First there was a 200-yard swim, followed by a 5-mile bike ride, and a 1.5-mile run. There was no prize, so instead of waiting to watch each other falter, the remaining contestants banded together to finish the challenge as one. Isn't that sweet? Don't think there won't be backlash after the weigh-in!

Speaking of which: Here are this week's numbers…

Name Start Tonight Total

Jaron 323 217 (-6), 2.69% -106

Wylie 307 217 (-7), 3.13% -90

Kai 262 185 (-4) -77

Erik 407 283 (-12), 4.07% -124

Heather 223 167 (-7), 4.02% -56

Kai and Jaron were up for elimination. Big surprise: Jaron got the axe. It seemed like the original contestants had it in for the new people since their first day. Bummer -- another person I was hoping would win it is now gone.

At this point, it seems like it could be anyone's game. I am guessing either Kai or Erik will take the prize. -- Rachel Cericola

Caroline Rhea is a good host. If someone would encourage her to lose weight, it would probably be good for her and the ratings would sky rocket! Caroline is not too much over weight, but having a show like this should in my opinion have people that look sim-ilar to the trainers. Nothing extreme, but along those lines. Whether or not Caroline loses weight, she is a really good host! :) Thank you. Jane
