The Biggest Loser: All About the Holidays

”BLoser-holidays.jpg" Sorry I didn't blog the last episode -- I was too distraught over Marty's getting kicked to the curb. Actually, that's not true. I was shocked and saddened that Marty was the one to get eliminated, but I was dealing with a screaming baby. I meant to go back and write up the episode, and it just never happened.

Does anyone else have a favorite? I think I am rooting for Jaron. He is the least annoying at this point. I couldn't stand the girls' alliance from day one... Erik gaining weight one week and stabbing his only remaining teammate in the back another week was a bit too much... I was rooting for Adrian, but she is just too whiney... So who is left? Maybe Wylie?

Bob was pissed that Wylie was still around. He even cried over it! The tension between Erik and Bob was very thick. Maybe Bob gets some kind of cash bonus if someone on his team wins the whole shebang.

The theme this week was the holidays. Where were they when I was stuffing mashed potatoes down my piehole (along with pie) last week? Big plug for Jennie-O turkey.

Caroline appeared (apparently she just came from a luau) to introduce the players to the "Biggest Loser Derby," where each person had to pile on their original pounds, and then hoof it around a racetrack. At various intervals, there were barrels. At each barrel, the contestants needed to drop off a weight for each week's loss, in order. So it required a little memory to boot.

Wylie was kicking ass, until he missed one of the targets and had to head back. Jaron took the lead, and even Adrian got into second place. However, Jaron won the race and gets to spend some time with his wife. Everyone else got Jell-O.

After a sappy look at Erik's journey, it was time to weigh in. Would he be packing up and taking Bob with him? Here was this week's stats:

Heather and Adrian were both knocked below the yellow line. One would think Adrian would get the boot so that no one would have to hear her whining anymore. My guess is that she wasn’t winning any sympathy by crying about "never beating the 160s." On the other hand, Heather has proved that she is a conniving contestant, so her evilness could blow up in her face.

Kai, on the other hand, is loyal. She voted for Adrian. Jaron is also loyal. He voted for Heather. Erik showed last week that he had no loyalty, but he voted for Adrian. She got the boot. She also gained five pounds since leaving the ranch. That was sort of a bummer.
