The Biggest Loser: The Un-Loved Boat

”BLoser-303.jpg"This week, the teams found out that they were going on a cruise. Bob wanted to show his team that "taking a vacation doesn't mean taking a vacation from your exercise and diet." In other words, it can actually be no fun!

After working out, the teams hit the buffet -- to discover how many healthy foods are actually there. How could you miss them? They are the ones that no one is touching.

Caroline emerged to pose a challenge. Instead of working out, the contestants were going to be just working -- as part of the crew. Each contestant had to make like Isaac and Gopher and bring meals to passengers, one at a time. Once the passenger signs the check, you need to run back to the home base and tag a teammate, so they can deliver the next meal.

The twist was that the teams were actually going to be delivering meals to friends and family members. I guess the challenge was to see who would stop, chitchat, and blow it for their team.

No one got super chatty, but I did feel bad for Bobby. He got lost. Heather didn't realize that she was looking for a loved one, and just aimlessly walked around the spa yelling out how she "needed a signature." However, I felt a little less bad for her since she was freaking out, yelling at people to get out of her way, and generally coming off as a total bitch (remember episode 1?). She did allow the competition to even up a bit, after Bobby's episode. However, the red team won and got to spend the evening with their family members. The blue team had to say goodbye to their loved ones.

At the beginning of the episode, Pam had mentioned how the blue team was getting cocky. I am thinking it was just the opposite, and this week's win didn't exactly sway my opinion. It all comes down to numbers though, and here they are for this week…

Red Team

Name Starting Weight Current Weight This Week's Loss Total Loss

Nelson (MA) 404 365 -5 -39

Ken (WA) 358 317 -3 -41

Wylie (FL) 307 269 -6 -38

Kai (AL) 262 233 -5 -29

Pam (IN) 247 226 -5 -21

Heather (UT) 223 201 -5 -22

Total: -79 pounds, 4.60%

Blue Team

Name Starting Weight Current Weight This Week's Loss Total Loss

Erik (NY) 407 364 -11 -43

Marty (MO) 365 322 -7 -43

Bobby (TN) 321 282 -9 -39

Brian (CA) 308 270 -7 -38

Amy (MD) 260 227 -9 -33

Melinda (AL) 236 211 -10 -25

Total: -29 pounds, 1.77%

The red team lost the weigh-in. I guess hanging out with loved ones may melt your heart, but it doesn't melt off the pounds.

Sadly, Heather was the bigger loser for the week, so she got immunity. She didn't seem too thrilled either since she said it was like "getting a D and everybody else in the class got an F." Nice team support.

It seemed like the girls were trying to align, while the guys were trying to "save the male species." Heather started off the elimination by weeping -- and voting for Wylie. All of the girls cried while also pulling their votes for Wylie, while simulataneously bitching at him that they weren't trying to divide the team -- even though they did admit that they wanted a girl to win. Hmmm....

Wylie cried -- maybe he could be with the girls -- and voted for Pam, just like the rest of the guys. That left the elimination decision up to the blue team. They went with who would actually be a big threat, so they sent Nelson packing and the red team began to freak out with the waterworks.

Nelson was a good competitor -- and he was representing my state! Sadly, my DVR cut off the very end, so I never found out how far along Nelson has gotten. Did anyone catch his current weight? Post it please! -- Rachel Cericola
