The red team was upset after Nelson got kicked off last week. I can't feel sorry for them; they really suck as a team. Nelson should be thanking the blue team.
Because they were just wallowing in their sorrows, Kim made them take a run. What they need is a group hug, because as someone on the blue team said, they are self-destructing. In fact, they even made Kim cry. Of course, they bitched and moaned. I just think they are more concerned with winning the challenges than the whole enchilada.
This week's temptation had a ton of tasty treats. The idea was to eat what was on each plate. After you eat the treat, stack the plate on the table. Whoever was the last one to put their plate down when the buzzer sounds gets a free pass. Some plates had carrots, some had cookies, some had crackers, etc. The girls on the red team were working together, but not with the rest of their team -- of course. I really can't wait until they have to start stabbing each other in the back. Kai won the challenge, so the red girls' plan seemed to work. Wylie was not happy.
Kim had a heart-to-heart with her team. She told them she was a military brat as a kid and has body-image issues. Now the team seems to love her. Go figure.
After showing Kim some love, she decided to give them a treat -- and give Jell-O some product placement.
Then Caroline magically appeared for another challenge. This one involved two giant escalators. Each team would be placed in the middle of one escalator. While it moves forward, the team will have to walk in the other direction. The team that lasts the longest wins. Seems simple enough. The team that wins gets to choose which member of the blue team will sit out on the weigh-in. The team members left standing will also split 10 grand.
Ken was the first one out. Erik was next. Then went Melinda, Wylie, Bobby, Kai, Amy, and Heather -- leaving Marty for the blue team and Pam for the red. Once again, the red team won.
The red team chose for Marty to sit out on the weigh-in. Not the best choice, but not too shabby either. Here is this week's results...

The blue team lost, so they needed to kick someone to the curb. It couldn't be Brian though -- he was the big loser of the week. I was sure that Melinda would get the axe. She has the least amount of weight to lose, and lost the least amount this week. Apparently, the team had the same line of thinking.
After a few weeks of seeing eliminated contestants not do so great, it was nice to see Melinda still working it. She has lost another 26 pounds, making it a cool 53. I am hoping some of the others will surprise us in the final episode. -- Rachel Cericola
