"BSG" is one of the finest television shows ever, and the best the Academy can come up with is costumes.

It's sad. Sci-fi and comedy will never get their just rewards.

But I can't honestly say I could come up with legitimate candidates for writing or acting for season 2.

Actually, let me take that back. Baltar deserves a best supporting actor nomination -- and you could argue Six should get one too, especially in season 1.

All that being said, Battlestar is being snubbed. They throw a few technical nominations at sci-fi shows, but they never consider them for acting and writing. A shame really. A few years back the best acting and writing on TV was ST:TNG -- and it didn't get a single nod, as far as I know.

HOUSE does not belong on the list. I've seen the West Wing in earlier seasons. Unless it's improved it does not belong on this list. BSG is everybit as good (as an engaging drama) as 24 and is much better than House and The West Wing. The last two episodes on Greys won my vote for best drama for this season. BSG is a close second (took ALOT of balls to pull that "ONE YEAR LATER" move. Makes you go WTF!) Greys pulled a nasty trick though. The cliffhanger on the next to last episode should have been a season finale. They then aired as the last episode of the season, which I felt should have been episode 1 of the next season.

But, despite not being my favorite dramatic series this season (it was in season 1 though) it is my second favorite. It certainly was snubbed by not beging nominated for Best Dramatic Series.
