Battlestar Galactica: Podcast Notes for "Six of One"

While we're all waiting for tonight's episode and the dramatic continuation of the mutiny aboard "Pirates of the Capricaean," we've gone and listened to Ron Moore's podcast for "Six of One." Here are the highlights we came back with:

This episode's alcohol: Woodford Reserve bourbon
No smokes this time since he recorded it right after the first one.

- As RDM does this podcast, he has just come from writing the finale!

- They refer to the #6 on the Cylon baseship as Natalie-6 internally.

- The Raiders are as alive (have a 'right to life,' as it were) as the other Cylons.

- Starbuck originally was put in #6's cell, but RDM felt it didn't work and so they put her in her own cell.

- Interesting scene after Lee's pilot send-off where afterwards he and Adama are drunk and Adama warns him he will eventually have a call to return as a pilot. Scene will be on DVD deleted scenes.

- The Galactica will look more and more worn as the season progresses.

- They didn't play with the Centurions new awareness as much as RDM thought they would, so don't look for major moves in that direction (boo!)

- Helo wasn't originally in the drafts as going with Kara on the Demetrius. The network noticed Helo wasn't getting a lot of scenes, and RDM realized they needed more and made him XO of the Demetrius mission.
