To gear up for the January 6th resumption of Season 2, here's a cheat-sheet of the major plot points from the season so far. SO MUCH has occurred, it's impossible to include everything in a concise way. Of course, it's also hard not to go on and on about the show so I TRIED to be as brief as possible. If you think a major point has been left out, feel free to post it below!

Episode #2.6
19 August 2005
After more than one-third of the fleet followed President Roslin and Tom Zarek, jumping into orbit around Kobol, tensions were running high.
Things get more heated when Kara and Helo return from Caprica. Lee, ecstatic at Kara's return, greets her with a surprising kiss! However, things get ugly when Sharon - a copy of the Cylon who shot Commander Adama - emerges and tempers ignite and guns are drawn. As the inevitable standoff lingers on, Helo defends Sharon and insists that she saved them.
Roslin gets Helo to drop his weapon with the promise of a simple brig trip for Sharon, she rescinds and insists they throw her out an airlock (she seems to like that punishment for Cylons). As they are dragging Sharon away, she says she knows where the Tomb of Athena (where info on the location of Earth is supposedly hidden). Since Roslin and her advisor have no clue as to its location, they decide she may be valuable after all. They head to the planet, including Zarek and his right hand man, to find the tomb. Their mission is not without its casualties, including Roslin's spiritual advisor, Elosha.
On the Galactica, Adama and Col. Tigh weigh their losses and attempt to rebuild their crew - thrown into disarray with the defections of Lee and Kara. After some serious mishaps by the new people tapped, Adama is forced to admit that there is no substitute for the people the fleet has lost and that he's gotta get the band back together.
He orders a Raptor be prepped to take him and a small team back to Kobol, so that he can find Roslin and Lee and make everything right.
