Comment from Jeanie

The majority of the new shows won't last anyhow because the stations don't give them enough of a chance to make "a lasting impression" with the viewers. 'Big Shots' was one of those shows because ABC literally threw it away 'before' it actually got started. While they did show some promos in the beginning, they waited right until the show got into full swing, and pulled 'all' promos three weeks "after" the show got on the air. People didn't even know if it was still on the schedule or not, because ABC kept putting 'other' shows in its place. This show was the 'only' one that was 'never' given the choice of being moved to a "better" day and time slot in order to save it.
I realize that most of these shows boil down to 'viewership' and 'dollars', but once again if you wish for them to become successful and have a loyal viewer base, why treat them like trash from the very beginning?
Lastly, there has 'never' 'ever' been one word of "official" confirmation about the shows 'cancellation', but I guess the gutless wonders at ABC absolved themselves by not including it on the 'upfronts' for this year, by way of cancellation by not including it on their schedule. Right on par for ABC, business as usual I guess.

I agree with Jeanie totally... I really want that show to make it, but it had big gaps in between new episodes were aired, even more so than shows suffering from the writers strike...

Of the shows cancelled I will miss that one and Las Vegas the most, mainly because it didn't have a ending... just a cliffhanger... and I will miss Journeyman too...
