The network is stupid for killing this show. The two couples work well together and mike is a asset to the show. There are many worse shows then this on thier network. I whish there was something that people like us that really do watch the show could do before they take it off the air. Sometimes the brass do not think commonly on these things. I missed a few episodes because the move the time around on it. But as you say Still Standing and King Of Queens are so much better, ha,ha

Bring back yes,Dear and don't fool with Still Standing or King of Queens.

Just leave things as they are instead of bringing in new shows like "Courting Alex", it stinks!

Get rid of all these reality shows and leave the Comedy shows alone!!!!

i started watching Yes dear last year, i got hooked on the show ever since i started watching it as well as the reruns on tbs and upn, now that im really into the show, they kill the show...i say bring it back or end it in a good way.

I started watching reruns of Yes Dear by accident during the day because I was getting bored with all the courtroom-type programming. It wasn't a bad show, but it didn't stand a chance against the reality TV craze that is currently monopolizing television. (Those actors must have cost CBS a lot of money!) I must say that the quality of the shows was uneven; some episodes were very good, others (like Jimmy getting a vasectomy) were pretty lame and annoying. Too bad, though, that the show is gone - it was better than a lot of the TV currently out there.

I think that Yes Dear was a good show. It's comedy. It makes people laugh. It made me laugh. But because it didn't make ENOUGH people laugh, it has to go! After six years, if it does have to go, at least give the fans who liked it enough to watch the show, but more importantly, give the actors the respect they deserve and give the show a final episode. Personally, I think that once a series has been on for at least five years, it should get a final episode. They gave six years of their careers and their lives working for the network to at least go out with a final episode, the same way it started with a "pilot" episode.....

Yes, Dear is a great show. The only problem with this show is with the Marketing Dept. There is no advertising/marketing the programs, which is what is killing them. I happened to come acrossed it by surfing TV channels....I was hooked the first time I viewed it. Unfortunately, I have never seen one commerical promoting the program. That is what hurt them!!! The show is the BEST one out there...hands down!!! BOO HOO to the producers who overlooked there downfall.

i REMEMBER when I SAW THE SHOW IT TOOK OVER THE FRESH PRINCE ON TBS. THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME I EVER SAW IT AND I WAS MAD At first but when i started watching it became my favorit show i work late and i set my dvr so when i get home at night i can watch it that would be the worst thing CBS could is to cancle somthing like that and keep a show like the amazing race that show sucks or big brother. that guy who wanted to boycot CBS on wednesday is a idiot

I love that show and I really think if they do end it, they should do two things 1. Play the reruns 2. Have a season finally. That other person was right. They do not advertise it enough! I love that show, it is so funny! Those actors and actresses on there might not be big time actresses but they would gain popularity if the show were advertised more!

I think it SUCKS that Yes, Dear has been cancelled. I love that show! There is NOTHING on TV these days. Now one of the VERY few shows I actually like is cancelled. They can at least mix up the reruns they air. Even on different channels I have come across the same rerun twice in one day. Seriously though, there are some lame shows on TV nowadays. This is such a funny show. I find it funnier than King of Queens. I don't understand why it was cancelled so suddenly. They truly do deserve a chance to say good-bye. It is not fair to the actors who put so many years in to the show. They had the rug pulled out from under them.

I became a devoted Yes Dear fan by watching the re-runs on TBS. Ya see, I work late nights so I watch the program just before going to work. I find them highly addictive even though I have seen every episode. Try watching them with a hot cup of coffe in the afternoon. I wish to say: I will miss Jimmy and Christien Hughes and Greg and Kim Warner and most of all Roy because he likes things freaky. Later....

YES DEAR is the best thing that happened to any of the networks think of all the great shows that were inspired to be greater becuase of it. it saved a marriage, laughter is truly the greatest medicine and now that my laughter is gone ... my marriage might be as well. Reality TV bites!!! I wish they would have more shows like "Yes, Dear". I mean come on guys, they don't still air reruns of all those stupid reality shows, but "I Love Lucy" has been on air since it started and people still watch it! What are all you networks gunna run when the Reality TV craze is over? More crappy court TV shows, PLEASE, The whole reason we watch TV is for comic relief for our over stressed American Working lives. "Yes,Dear" is a GREAT movie which gives value to family comedy. Laughter is becoming a scarce resource on T.V. as so much negativity is aired all day long. A daily dose of laughter is everthemore important in today's turbulent environment, and "Yes, Dear" is the Best that could ever happen. :)

Why in the world would cbs do such an idiotic thing by cancelling Yes,Dear? It was the best show they had. Now, I understand bringing new comedys in like Two and a Half Men and How I Met Your Mother but come on. Get rid of those crappy reality shows and get the comedy back on the air. I really like this show and I was looking forward to seeing more of it. I stay up every evening just to watch the repeats. Its a family show that makes us remember classics such as All In The Family, Everybody Loves Raymond, and M.A.S.H. only they got to run until people were no longer interested. I love Yes Dear!! I agree that the show obviously did not get enough pub during its regular season because I just happened upon the sitcom by accident. I watch as many reruns on TBS as possible. Very funny show!!!! What is wrong with the networks that want to broadcast nothing but played out reality shows and dumb dramas. Believe me in the state of our world, the people want to escape to some good comedy.

This is a retarded reason to have a show cancelled, i feel that a show with a loyal fan base such as Yes! Dear desevres the respect of being brought off the air in a respectful manor. I am shocked yes dear was axed. I figured 6 seasons it was doing something right. I watched everyday with my 2 year old daughter. "Yes dear is on", she would go crazy. Sad state of affairs. Reality = LAME

I can't believe that all these TV channels are basically becoming nothing more than reality tv... shows like yes dear, with REAL talent are getting cancelled to make way for cbs and nbc to basically try and compete with american idol or some other reality tv show. That's what it boils down to. Well I just wish cbs would just sign over the rights of the show to tbs and let them let the show go on, because all the local tv stations are nothing but crap now... court tv during the day, and reality tv at night, and the news... thank goodness for stations like tbs, family channel, tvland... they know how to show all the classics!

Yes,Dear was a breath of fresh air in my opinion, till this day watching the same reruns still make me laugh it was possibly at least in the top 20 of greatest sitcoms of all time. When I first saw it was when Jimmy first met Greg, and Greg got his ass kicked by Tidus while they played "I am A Man Who Will Fight for Your Honor" that was the most hilarious thing i've ever seen in my life they really should consider doing a reunion and ending it with a finale....

It's a shame that these decent, well written, and funny sitcoms are going the way of the dinosaur. I can't take one more overly sensitive dramas, cop: hospital drama, or any "reality" show. I remember when TV used to make me laugh. Now the networks move the time slots around so much that if you don't have tivo you'll never catch you favorite show. Now with the demise of Raymond, Yes Dear, King of Queens, and probably Still Standing in the near future, there will be little to watch. I hope NBC holds on to Scrubs and the Office.
