LOST to Get 2 New DVD Releases Soon

People are still talking about LOST: The End. ABC and parent company Disney are looking to strike while the iron is hot! Both just announced plans for dual DVD releases, coming August 24, 2010.

LOST: The Complete Sixth and Final Season will include every episode from the Sixth Season, as well as hours of never-before-seen bonus footage, bloopers and enough shorts to choke a smoke monster. Here is the rundown on what's included in the set:

• Every Sixth Season Episode
• Bloopers and Deleted Scenes
• Audio Commentaries for four episodes (LA X, Dr. Linus, Ab Aeterno and Across The Sea)
• The End: Crafting A Final Season - The LOST team talks about the challenges of ending a landmark series.
• A Hero's Journey - A look at what makes a hero, as well as which Oceanic 815 survivors qualify.
• See You In Another Life, Brotha - Explore the mysteries of this season's intriguing flash sideways.
• LOST on Location - A behind-the-scenes featurette with stories from the set, as well as cast and crew interviews.
• A LOST Blu-ray & DVD exclusive - Go deeper into the world of LOST with a much-anticipated new chapter of the island's story from Executive Producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse.

The DVD set will retail for $59.99. The Blu-ray bumps up to $79.99.
