Summer isn't exactly a light season for HBO. In between True Blood and Entourage, they are kicking off a summer of documentaries -- with the mother of all subjects.
Kevorkian will be the first in the series. As you probably guessed, it's a 90-minute look at Dr. Jack Kevorkian, who helped 130 different people meet their Maker. Also known as Dr. Death, Kevorkian was sentenced to jail in 1998. He served eight years before getting paroled in 2007.
The guy is pretty upbeat though, stating, "I don't have regrets. In fact, I'm thankful."
Find out what else he has to say when Kevorkian premieres Monday, June 28 at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on HBO. Check out the trailer below.
In case you can find them on in replays or on-demand, other June films include Smash His Camera (June 7), For Neda (June 14), and Gasland (June 21).
