CBS Clears the Slate

With one mighty blow, CBS has opened a gaping hole in its lineup.

The network has cancelled three dramas, Cold Case, Ghost Whisperer and Numbers. They've also decided to pull comedies Accidentally on Purpose, New Adventures of Old Christine and Gary Unmarried.

We thought Ghost Whisperer was a lock for next season, but apparently one spooky show is enough for the network. They've decided to give Medium another season, after picking it up last year from NBC.

Also, New Adventures of Old Christine and Gary Unmarried seem a little surprising.

According to Entertainment Weekly, ABC may be interested in picking up Christine as well as Ghost Whisperer -- although Christine appears more likely to move.
